Booked this stay as going to a wedding nearby. Although we knew Premier Inn's were good we didn't realise we'd get a king size bed in the room which was an added bonus!
Room was a good size and shower in bathroom had plenty of hot water.
Breakfast the next day was a little confusing, it said that it was a buffet when we booked but it actually wasn't and so we had to tell the waiting staff what we wanted. Although we were allowed to choose the number items and when the breakfast came it was nice, it was still not quite the buffet we expected.
Staff were great!!
Arrived to excellent welcome from mature female receptionist. ( following day young female receptionist a little offhand). Room very clean. Front rooms have excellent views . Our rear facing room overlooked dustbins.( worth checking when booking). Breakfast and dinner at adjacent pub " Old Brickworks" very good. Friendly service. For something different at dinner try the "Chicken Balti Pie". Mine was excellent as were my fellow diners meals. One tiny annoyance was that i ordered a side portion of Garlic Bread and received two small slices for £1.70. Should have been at least four if not six slices !!!
Plenty of parking of which 50% is secured at night.
This is another success in the Premier brand. The attached pub is airy and pleasant, with good service and nice food. They have a separate kids play area indoors which looks fun for those who do.
The room is a good size, although each I have stayed in had a slight air of damp about them that leads to the bathroom not being aired propoerly.
The village is on a striking ridge, with fine views, and anumber of shops and pubs. Easy access to Bradford by car. No train links.
