We came to yorkshire in the early start of october to visit close family. This hotel wasn't on our short list, however we thought we would give it go after reading some reviews, which i am glad we did. The service was excellent as was the food, the menu had a very good choice of dishes and the quality is more 4 star than 3, also the breakfast was brill and set us up for the day. We stayed in one of the executive rooms whilst our oldest child stayed in a double. The value was fantastic for the amount we recieved and i can not wait to visit again.

We came up to yorkshire to visit family near by but was not sure where to stay as there are many other hotel close by. BUT I AM GLAD WE CAME HERE. Due to the hotel not being a chain, it allowed us to experience the homely and relaxed feel of this wonderful part of west yorkshire. My sister reccomended this place to me a while back and from what i could see on there website, everything would be perfect. Trust me, ive been in many small hotels in my life time and this has to be in the top 5. Why not give it a go, we did and it was great!!!!

We have stayed here a few times and everytime we have really enjoyed it. Food was great (the breakfast) the staff was brilliant, I think it was the hotel owner that spoke to us which is a great bonus and her little sidekick was super. Room was comfy but just needs a little updating (not too much) TONS of character within the building, what can I say other than we will be back!
