“L'Atre Fleuri was a home away from home.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2009

Our trip to Normandy and Lisieux were awesome mostly because we were able to rest comfortably at the L'Atre Fleuri B&B. Our proprietors were extremely helpful when asked what we are sure the same questions time and again with great patience and wonderful enthusiasm's. They truly do love what they do and make you want to love it too. The rooms are extremely comfortable with every possible need met. Our room was very quiet breakfast was always on time and served like you were royalty for the day. The yogurt was delicious (rhubarb) locally made and the pastries were fresh daily. Jim would run to the local bakery every morning and get what you ordered. Margaret is full of wonderful stories of France and has a great talent for interior design. A pleasant time spent in France and we would love to return someday.

“Amazing Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2008

Margaret saw to our every need, wonderful breakfast, coffee in the room each morning (and may I say, DELICIOUS coffee). The room was comfortable and well appointed, the bathroom a dream (we stayed in the Yellow Rose Suite). A great home base for our visit to Normandy. Margaret and Jim recommended a nice little local seafood restaurant (and made reservations) . I highly recommend this B&B. We will stay again on our next trip to Normandy!

“Wonderful B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2008

My husband and I loved this B&B and would return if possible. Jim and Margaret were more than welcoming and the breakfast was to die for (especially the yogurt!).

Our room was very charming and comfortable and the fresh, hot coffee first thing in the morning was wonderful! There was nothing lacking about our suite and the decorations were so warm and welcoming.

We highly recommend this B&B and especially if you are going to tour the battle sites in Normandy. Margaret hooked us up with a fantastic tour guide.

Our stay couldn't have been better!

“We loved this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2008

We just came back from a week in France. Two days were spent in the Normandy region and we stayed at L'Atre Fleuri and LOVED it. It was so charming and our hosts, Jim and Margaret, could not have been more pleasant! They were also very informative and gave us a lot of insight into the region; where to go, where to eat, etc. They even set us up with a wonderful guide to show us around.

Margaret brought fresh coffee up to our room each morning and at night we enjoyed sitting and talking with them around the cozy fireplace in the common room. My most favorite memory, though, is the fresh homemade farm yogurt Margaret serves. It is nothing like we can get here in the states and I am really going to miss it!!

I would recommend L'Atre Fleuri to anyone!

“Perfect for Exploring Normandy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2008

This is a perfect B&B for exploring Normandy. We loved the location, the owners, and the decorations. Our room was beautifully decorated and there was a great breakfast every morning. One of the best B&B's I've ever stayed in.
