This is the final conclusion after a week in this hotel. Building in a very good condition. Room spacious and luxurious, ideal for family needs, clean and cosy. Beach sandy, without rocks, plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds (free of charge). Sea shallow, warm, perfect for kids, beach in a very small distance from your room. Restaurants clean, spacious, no queues, very good quality of food, great variety every day (meat, pasta, soups, salads, desserts, pastries, etc..) Everyday different menu, selected by several areas of Greece (islands, regions...)
PROBLEMS : nothing special except :
a) a 45' min delay of check in (un-prepared room, we were there at 14,15' and we took a room at 15,00' - The reservation manager very kindly offered us some fresh water, while we were waiting at the reception).
b) high prices for cold sandwiches (4,5 euro ) in pool bar, without big variety

We had a really good time in Anthemus hotel! The building is newly built (2007) and very nice. The beach is very good with warm and shallow water. Additionally, the room (junior suite) was spacious and very clean. Concerning the food, we were more than satisfied. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious with a wide variety of food to choose. The staff was very friendly.

Sea & Beach - nice sandy beach, very good for children of all ages (and parents also) , very clean wather , 2 sunbads + unbrells for 3 € , free beach towels
Accomodation - junior suites are very nice with breathtaking sea view
Food - excellent , all kind of food , everyday different meals , salat, fresh fruits , cakes and creams ,pancakes for breakfast ...
Staff - very profesional, meet all our demands with no problem
My family spent 13 days there and it was too short for us.
Sithonia is very nice , featured with forests, vineyards , olive plantages and lot of beautfull beaches that could not be filled with turists
Recomandation ; we enjoye evenings in Piano bar with live traditionl greek music at roof of Reception, excellent
Some problems with wireless internet, but it is vacation anyway.

The recent increase of hotel capacity and small estate made the place look "crowded" but still it remains one of the best places for family vacations. Friendly staff, excellent services, activities for kids and adults, shallow sea waters, very clean pools, great food!
The pool/beach bar and tavern were enlarged and improved in 2010.
Good accessibility for strollers and wheelchairs.

Tips:
- Don't hesitate to visit the SPA with very nice ambiance and services.
- If you notice anything that needs maintenance, don't hesitate to report it and the great maintenance staff will fix it within minutes.
- The Internet connection may give you hard time if you try to use it during pick hours. Try early in the morning or night.
- Your satisfaction may depend on the room type that you will have, so if you have the option, ask about the type, location, view and orientation of your room prior to your arrival so that you will know what to expect. Remember that better room options may cost more...
- Junior or DeLux suites with pool view are great choices for families.

We have been there twice and we will be there again.
