“Faulty Towers Buri Ram Thailand”

I was recommended that this was the best hotel in Buri Ram... Ok if it is, I think I might as well just have to sweat it out here for a further 4 days! Surly there has to be better in Buri Ram.. Well even for 960 ฿ for one night I will still give this a poor review.... No tea and coffee facilities in the superior room .... The air con is very weak! And I think a cleaner is required to clean the windows, a new carpet which would be a good idea throughout the hotel.... When you walk in the lobby looks great, but have a travel in the shanti lift and look at the rooms!!!! The staff have no interest in helping you, you need to ask for your room to be cleaned, oh.... Internet charges are dated when dial up was used... Basically it would cost you 800฿ for the day just 160฿ less than the actual room......

“Old hotel but still adequate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2010

Superior room is 790 bhat. This include buffet breakfast, but does not include internet access which is charged at 50 bhat per hour (outrageous). I found nice coffee shope Klim with good internet for free. Good food, very clean and modern. Hotel also charged 100 bhat to make 1 local telephone call from the room. Breakfast is not good, same same but is included so I ate there every day. English not good. Yes, probably nicest hotel in Buriam but falls short in many ways. Had no towels 1 morning. Hotel is a bit out of city so little access to facilities. You need car or transportation to city. Otherwise, quiet, nice hotel with good room. Hot water was variable. Typical problem in thailand in older hotel.

“Relax and Enjoy and worth every penny”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2010

Far from perfect .. But well worth the money. Rooms are a little dated but large and clean. Breakfast was Thai perfect and western poor. Room service food great value and top quality. Eat fish every day and for a man who does not eat fish at all you can guess how nice it was. Pool area a little dated but more than good enough. Across the road is are two nice restuartant, the best being the one on the far right ran by two sisters authentic thai food and toned down spice for farang (no english menu or spoken). Great open air (covered) bar around the corner, live modern issan band get's busy around 10.30 onwards.....

“For People Who Like To Party”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2010

The hotel has an outdoor club which you could hear the people partying and the music playing as if it was occuring right in your room. When the MC or DJ spoke on the microphone you could hear them louder than the person in your own room. This occured until 11pm. We found out the next morning that our neighbor called the front desk to complain several times and they finally stopped. The people who worked there were friendly and they were prompt when you needed something. The breakfast buffet was great but come early because they will run out of the popular foods. The room was okay but there were much mold and soap scum on the shower cutains. I can not give them a full five stars because I have stayed in five star hotels in the US like the Hilton and Embassy Suites. I noticed that other people gave them five stars but they probably never stayed in an Embassy Suites before. Again this place is okay if you like to sleep late and enjoy loud music. Maybe its good for young people but the majority of the people I saw staying at the hotel were middle aged and probably came to rest. I give this hotel only 2 and a half stars.

“Nicest hotel in Burriram---out of the three I know”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2009

Hotel has descent rooms but they are a bit worn. Great pool. Good breakfast included with room price for two, kids eat free. Although its a bit out of town I rented a motorbyke for 150 baht and checked out the city---not the most exciting city. Found a few good bars with some lookers for rent but was with family. Fast Wi-fi for 150 baht for 24 hours, used by the pool. Great night market 2 kilometers away packed with good food and some stunners from college. Has a massage service and a brothel on the second floor. 109 baht buffet next door looked clean and had an array of good food. Pizza hut delivers until 10:00 p.m.
