“Luxury room is worth it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

This is an aging hotel in the process of renovation. They've started on the top, so the 8th floor is appointed like a typical american hotel, but floors 2-7 need some attention. I think all rooms on the 8th floor are called "luxury" rooms. The property has a nice pool and restaurant. And I would bet that this is the nicest hotel within at least an hour drive. The staff are eager to help, but speak very little English so aside from checking in and checking out it's hard to communicate other tasks like laundry, etc.

Room Tip: 8th floor - Luxury Rooms

“Very Nice, would stay again”

We walked in and were able to get a room easily. Our room was on the 8th floor, but the elevator only went to 7. I saw a room on the 7 th floor, and compared to the newly remodeled 8th, the walk up 1 floor was worth it.

this place is awfull, but the best of whats available in buriram.
you have to have vouchers/tickets for every thing...towels, breakfast....when i pulled the swimming towel out of the bag at the massage place by the pool, a rat jumped out! the toilets at the pool are also used by the staff and so disgusting ...there is no where to stand to get changed because the floors are filthy. pool very good and clean. the whole outside areas need jet washing and cleaning. breakfast average, but you have to hunt for every thing...run out of bread, bacon, sausages, seats...yes i had to sit outside!
this place is used my coach tour companies so the average stay is 1 night per person, and unlikely that any body would ever come back to stay again, so they dont care.
the reception is large and impressive, but every thing stops there! the whole place is dated and tired

“Faulty Towers Buri Ram Thailand”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2011

I was recommended that this was the best hotel in Buri Ram... Ok if it is, I think I might as well just have to sweat it out here for a further 4 days! Surly there has to be better in Buri Ram.. Well even for 960 ฿ for one night I will still give this a poor review.... No tea and coffee facilities in the superior room .... The air con is very weak! And I think a cleaner is required to clean the windows, a new carpet which would be a good idea throughout the hotel.... When you walk in the lobby looks great, but have a travel in the shanti lift and look at the rooms!!!! The staff have no interest in helping you, you need to ask for your room to be cleaned, oh.... Internet charges are dated when dial up was used... Basically it would cost you 800฿ for the day just 160฿ less than the actual room......

“Old hotel but still adequate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2010

Superior room is 790 bhat. This include buffet breakfast, but does not include internet access which is charged at 50 bhat per hour (outrageous). I found nice coffee shope Klim with good internet for free. Good food, very clean and modern. Hotel also charged 100 bhat to make 1 local telephone call from the room. Breakfast is not good, same same but is included so I ate there every day. English not good. Yes, probably nicest hotel in Buriam but falls short in many ways. Had no towels 1 morning. Hotel is a bit out of city so little access to facilities. You need car or transportation to city. Otherwise, quiet, nice hotel with good room. Hot water was variable. Typical problem in thailand in older hotel.
