The hotel has had some updating to the rooms. There are 10 rooms to the hotel which vary in size decor and standard. 1,2,3,5 are the best rooms. The others are funtionable though small. The biggest two complaints are that there is no internet or very limited, the showers are a joke, you have to run around to get wet! The water pressure is none existant. I have suggested they seriously need to spend money and fix the boiler or replace the existing hot water system. Room 7 the extract fan runs for 40 minutes when started noisy impeads sleep.
The main rooms downstairs are tired and need revamping with decor looking shabby in some areas. Parking is also an issue as it is limited and right opposite the train station.
The food is a little revelation as it is quite good and what they do it is done well. Though they don't cater for special dietry needs. The staff are friendly and are happy to do what they can. The hotel is overlooked by a quaint clock tower that although to a tourist may be quite a novelty, it chimes and ring all the time on the hour not funny at 12 o clock. midnight.
