We are one of the lucky families that get in at Christmas. First came 12/13 years ago - it is a REAL treat. The best treatment EVER. Maitre D's the best in the business. Fantastic food, wonderful hosts, lovely rooms, lots of lovely extras. If you are foreign and want to experience an traditional English country house Christmas weekend - proper style - this is where to book. A lifetime memory.

Wife's birthday weekend treat. Two great nights - eat in the bar restaurant which was really good on the 1st night. Took a lovely walk through bluebell woods to a National Trust garden centre plus tea room, suggested by the hotel who also supplied maps! Broadway in the afternoon, full of great shops etc. The world famous Pudding Club in the evening which was so well run, such great fun that we burnt off the calories with laughter. Leisurely Sunday after a superb cooked breakfast. Happy wife, happy life!

A group of friends and I very much enjoyed the 'Divine Chocolate Cookery Demo and Lunch' day event. The hotel was pleasant, the staff very personable and enthusiastic, the demonstration fun and the food delicious. The event exceeded expectations and I would recommend the experience, especially for its good value for money. I look forward to trying the Pudding Club next!

The hotel and particularly the fantastic tradition of The Pudding Club is nestled away in a lovely Cotswold village and is simply Fabulous! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the hotel is always immaculate....just like their puddings. This gem of a place is certain to remain in the memory and encourages many a repeat visit. The kitchen staff catered extraordinarily well for my Gluten Free diet and I once again was able to sample the delights of deserts from yesteryear. Marvelous!
