We stayed at La Suvera in late September 2011 and could not have been happier with our choice.
The hotel and its grounds are stunning, really impossible to describe.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating and the owner allowed us to visit the private family museum and suites housed in the main part of the Hotel. What a wonderful highlight of our trip.
The adjacent town boasts some fantastic restaurants and is a very easy stroll.
WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN AGAIN.

We have been returning to La Suvera for twenty years, La Suvera always lives up to ones expectations and indeed exceeds them. Efficient and friendly staff ensure one has a complete carefree holiday in the most beautiful surroundings. You can be assured that every moment of your stay will be perfect. The accomodation is of a very high standard, over the years we have tried a number of rooms and have been delighted with each one, they are well maintained with lovely furnishings. Evenings at La Suvera are memorable, the hotel's restaurant is situated in a most romantic setting with the backdrop of the magnificent old Villa, the food is excellent ,consistently high quality and beautifully presented. La Suvera is a special place to stay, you will not be dissapointed and you will want to return as we and many others do.

Our family of four adults stayed for 3 nights in the family suite. The property itself is exceptionally beautiful. The grounds and gardens are spectacular and the two bedroom 2 bath suite was filled with luxurious details. Unfortunately this did not make up for the condescending attitude at the front desk. The gentleman that "greeted" us on Sunday seemed bothered by our arrival. We could never get our internet connection to work despite several calls for help to the front desk. Both our terrace and the pool area were unusable due to an overabundance of black flies. We found it unreasonable that despite paying several thousand dollars per night we were charged extra when my son requested an egg with his breakfast. We are a well traveled family and have enjoyed luxury accommodations at properties that are consistently ranked amongst the world's best. In order to be truly memorable, a property needs to be more than a pretty face. It needs to be a home away from home with a whatever it takes attitude. Unfortunately for us, Relais La Suvera did not fit this bill.
