We stayed at this hotel in our trip to Rio to attend to Paul McCartney concert last May 2011. The hotel is located in Copacabana, the rooms are quite small and during the night it was possible to fell the cold inside the room (yes, cold in Rio, it was May). The breakfast was this typical brazilian with fruits, cooked ham, cheese and brazilian "french bread". The hotel also has a parking to which you need to pay and as it was cheeper rent a car to go to the hotel and in the next day go back to the airport than take a taxi we did it, as normal in Brazil you will let the car with someone from the hotel who will park it for you, if you need the car late you need to take it at the garage that is almost 100 meters away of the hotel

Good price for Copacabana. The Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Staff was very kind and helpfull. The parking is separeted from the hotel, 100 meters distance from the main entrance, but looks safe. I stayed just one night there and had no problem with noises. The rooms looks old but it was ok and clean. Good for a short stay.

You pretty much have anything you need at apa hotel. The rooms are clean and not too small, there is a good breakfast (cheese, ham, fruits, different breads, ...) and you can find a minibar on your room. Besides, you can ask for tours at the reception but make sure to bargain as they do charge quite a bit more (110 for a city tour, we found the same offer for 70 in the streets, so we got it for a lot less). the laundry service delivers the same day but expect to pay a little more here as well. All in all, a great place to stay if you're looking for something basic and affordable!! Close to the metro and the beach, too!

A little old, looks it and smells it. Not exactly cheap, but for the prices in Copacabana these days the place is a bargain. Near enough to the beach and the underground, and away from the hustle of Atlantica.
