If your journey takes you through Agrinio, I d recommend staying at Esperia hotel.
We stayed here for 1 night in June 2011. The staff are very hospitable - even helped with making a fruit puree for our son. Rooms are mid sized with a small bathroom, aircon, mini fridge and tastefully decorated for Greek countryside standards.
What surprised us was the generous breakfast with a very wide selection of savoury and sweets which i would expect to see only in a high end hotel.
The staff was genuinely friendly too - what you d expect from a family-owned establishment

To tell you the truth I was biased about the town of Agrinio as I set off but this hotel has changed my mind .Wonderful service,extremely polite people ,a rarity for Greece,clean rooms ,plentiful breakfast and with its own parking smack in the middle of Agrinio.I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone .Keep up the good work !
