These apartments are based in the centre of Pernera, a small area next door to Protoras. They are very central to the few bars and restaurants that the area offers, all within walking distance. I can recommend the restaurant oppostite La Cultura Del Gusto, very good (Italian / International). The apartments are dated with avacado bathroom suites and basic furniture, however are spacious and clean. The pool area is nice, with plenty of sunloungers. I believe this is a family run hotel, it has a nice feel to it. We had a room overlooking the car park which I would try and avoid due to the noise from the Ranch bar across the road. Opt for a pool view. A board walk has been built along the sea front to link Pernera to Protoras, we walked this one night early evening and it took about 30 minutes. Its a nice walk and felt safe. You can then catch the bus back from the main strip at Protoras for 1 euro per person. The bus is headed Paralimni and you need to get off outside the Knights pub in the centre of Pernera, you will recognise the area even in the dark.
Overall if you are looking for some cheap, basic, clean apartments and are not bothered about any luxury the Seagull will be perfect. However if you prefer modern luxury you need to look elsewhere and pay the price accordingley.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in July this year and found it very basic; there was no WiFi but there's a computer with Internet access that you can buy time on ...though it's old. There is a pool table and football table there too. The rooms are spacious but have old décor (along with the rest of the hotel). The pool area was clean and there was always a sunbed available. The pool is good for a bit of light swimming. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We flew with Thomas Cook, there was no entertainment in the hotel but there's Ranch Bar across the road with good acts (e.g. Meatloaf) and the drinks/cocktails are worth trying. There's also a supermarket across the road with good cheap prices. (Check Google Maps for more info on local stores.) The beach and transport links are very local - easily walkable.

All-in-all, a nice stay and nothing disappointing. Would just recommend the hotel owners to redecorate and modernise (e.g. WiFi).
Oh, and on a weekend locals come to stay so it can get busy at the weekend but nothing unbearable.

Had a week in these apartments in September and I can thoroughly recommend them. They are very clean and airy with good sized rooms. We were not disturbed by noise as we had a room overlooking the pool, although a couple of guests did say that the rooms above the bar opposite could be a bit noisy, but all quiet by midnight.
The pool area is spotless. We watched the maids cleaning one morning whilst we sat on our balcony with a coffee and they cleaned everything, even the railings around the snack and childrens play area very thoroughly. The pool is one of the nicest ones I have been in and it was never over-crowded during our stay. Always plenty of sun beds too. The staff are very friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble.
The only grumble I have is that the towels are not changed often enough. I change my towels every day at home, so maybe I am a bit fussy! I think at least every other day for a towel change would be good. The courtesy room is very good and roomy with a nice shower and mirrors and plug sockets thoughtfully placed, but again a towel would be a nice extra, even if they charge a small amount for it. I would happily have paid, for the convenience of a clean dry towel.
If you are looking for a slightly quieter area this place is ideal. There is a lovely walkway into main Protaras, which is only a 20 minute stroll and there are lots of restaurants along the way. We have stayed in Cyprus many times and were not sure about staying in a slightly quieter area, but there are plenty of really good restaurants to choose from and it's only a short bus ride into Protaras, if you want livelier. We are hoping to go back next year and will definitely stay at the Seagull apartments.
Lots of very good Restaurants to eat in and one of the very best is Knights as the food is wonderfull and reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly and helpfull. Avoid the Windmill restaurant as the service was awfull and the people who work there are very rude, which is why it is usually quite empty I guess. We went to the McDonalds in Protaras one day for lunch and I was very happy to discover that they still do Veggie Burgers! I hadn't intended to eat, but I just had to have one. Don't know why they stopped doing them here.
A really good holiday and hoping to go back in a few months.
