Just back from spending a week at the Andreotis, and I have to say we had a fantiastic time.
We travelled as a group of 5 adults and I honestly couldn't fault this place at all.
The rooms were spacious enough for us with all the usual amenities you would expect in a self catering apartment, 2 ring cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave in the kitchenette, along with a dining area.
The bedroom was a good size with adequate storage both in the wardrobe and another cupboard by the bathroom.
There was a spacious pool area, and due to the fact that we were visiting at the end of October towards the end of the season, we had no problems at all getting sun loungers in whatever location we wanted. There were 2 pools, a large one and a children's pool, and both were clean as was the pool area itself.
At the complex, you can choose to dine either at the pool area under the parasols, or in the restaurant area. The food served at the Andreotis is some of the best food we had in our whole time in Protaras and for me personally the best food I have had in any establishment I have ever stayed in on holiday - it's very reasonably priced and of an extremely high quality - they have a diverse menu and there is something there for everyone, and the staff are more than happy to deviate from the menu if you'd like something changed.
Another huge attraction to the Andreotis for us was the staff, the majority of which were absolutely fantastic. One of the barmaids had a right attitude problem, but the rest were absolutely brilliant and bent over backwards to ensure that we, and everyone else, were catered for to an exceptionally high standard - Tasos, Paula, Tanya, and especially Jane from the Pool Bar, who took time out of her busy day to chat to us and make us feel welcome - thanks so much guys!!!
The location of the Andreotis is great, only a short walk from the main strip with lots of bars, restaurants and shops, and there are three convenience stores on the same road as the apartments, so everything is close to hand.
My last point is not about the apartments, but some advice for anyone coming along and wanting to book trips - we only did one, which was to go to Larnaca Market and the Camel Park - The Camel Park was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it as there is lots to do there besides camel rides and it's a localy place to spend the day, however I would look into seeing if there is a way to make your own way to it by bus and bypass the market.
Basically the market is essentially a car boot sale in an arid car park, with people selling a load of old tat - I would definitely give it a miss unless you are looking to purchase some cracked plates, rusty glasses or copied CD's of dodgy 80's hits.
It was €17 for the trip and this doesn't include the camel ride which is an additional €9 so if you want to go I would enquire about getting a bus up to it instead or hire a car and drive there.
In all we had a great time at the Andreotis and in Protaras and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, thanks for a great time guys :)
