We stayed at the hotel from 3 October to 11 October in room 319 and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is clearly 'basic' and that is reflected in the price. But it is great value for money, the apartment we had was roomy (nice living/kitchen area with sofabed and chairs, good sized bedroom), clean, and had all that we needed (fridge, hob, toaster, kettle, air-con (paid for separately at about 4 EUR per day)), including a sun-trap balcony.
The swimming pool is quite small, but is good enough to cool yourself down.

The staff are so friendly and helpful; they can't be faulted. The food is great too, and very cheap.

The location is not prime, but you can stroll into the main drag in about 10 minutes, and Protaras is only 10 minutes by car to Ayia Napa.

If you want to spend your money on things other than accomodation, or are on a budget, then you will struggle to find better than this.

This holiday was my first trip to Cyprus, it was myself and 1 friend, two young singles looking for a tan and stuff to fill our days and nights. This hotel is just a 10 minute or so walk from the main Protaras strip filled with lots of fresturants and bars, and is only a 20 minute or so drive to the main clubbing scene, Ayia Napa to which there is a bus service to. The closest beaches are again approx a 10 minute walk which are all gorgeous.
The rooms are very basic but large and the facilities for cooking etc were more than adequate for what we were looking for, the room was in good condition and very clean - cleaned everyday.
The thing that sets this accomodation apart from others are the staff. It is a family run hotel, the owner George and his 3 lovely children run the reception. They are all very friendly, are always there to go to for help and advice and are good to have a laugh with. The bar and pool area is run by Alex who is very into his football having either that or the music channels on the tele. He, as well as the family running the hotel, are fab at suggesting good places to go and they provide directions! One night during the week he holds a BBQ and Karioke night which MUST be attended, and goes very nicely with one or two of his cocktails. He does lovely food which is reasonably priced - we arrived at 0130hrs and he still made up Mousaka!! The milkshakes he makes are to die for (definatly better than McDonalds which, for those of you who want Big Mac and chips all week is only about 5-10 minutes away.)
There is plenty to do locally - we even went Scuba Diving (Easy Divers) which was great and only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. I would also recommend the "Shirley Valentine" boat trip which if your looking for a large booze cruise wouldn't be your thing, however if you want to take in the sights of Famagusta and Cape Greko, as well as taking a dip in the bay and hacing lunch on board is perfect. The skipper and his wife run this boat and make it a very personal experience.
All in all a brilliant holiday with the staff being the "icing on the cake" to make it so good! I will definatly return!

A homely place far enough out of the centre of town to be peaceful but still only a ten minute walk into the heart of Protaras. If you don't want to walk there is a regular bus service close to Mandalena. The apartments are basic but spacious and it is paying for the air conditioning as there is some noise from the bar at night. The reception staff were really welcoming and the bar staff had great banter but the MTV rapping at breakfast was sometimes hard to cope with. Meals were served in the bar area next to the pool but the prices (as with the food) were a bit pricy for the standard of the accommodation.

This was my first time in Protaras and i will definitley be returning. The hotel had everything you needed. The pool and bar area is nice and clean, Alex the bar man is nice and friendly and his wife cooked us some great meals there in the resturant, the food is really good. They have all the sports channels you could want showing all the football games. Every saturday they put a bbq and karaoke on which was great.
This hotel isnt right on the strip but is only a five minute walk away, a few bars and resturants on the way.
My only bad point was our room could of done with a better clean, she only really changed towels and beds daily but never swept or mopped the floor in the two weeks appart from that it was fine.
Would definitley return to this hotel!
