Our first time to Cyprus. We went there to visit our daughter and newly born granddaughter who are at an RAF on the Island.

Our expectations weren't too high as we knew it was very close to the end of the season (the last week in fact) but we were very pleasantly surprised.

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, always keen to have a chat (as I guess they weren't too busy) and generally nice.

We had booked half board, but decided on a few ocassions to eat out as the standard wasn't that good. The restaurant on the beach was, however, excellent.

Loved the idea of having your own beach bed for the week, although overcrowding was certainly not an issue.

We have stayed in this hotel for weekend. The rooms seemed clean, but very plain. Loccitane cosmetics was nice touch. Our son dropped his toy underneath the bed, so we had to move the beds. A lot of dust and crums, dirt that was there dor a long time and that should not appear in any 4 star hotel. On the other hand, stuff was helpful, breakfeast great, a lot of different things to choose from. Terrace, pools, towel service, brilliant. And you can reserve your seat outside on the beach or pool through out our whole stay which is great too.

We have travelled a lot and seen many parts of the world for more than 25 years. Our first visit to Cyprus and Capo Bay was in 1991. Immediately we liked the island and the location of the hotel next to the best beach in Cyprus. Since then we have stayed in Capo Bay some 25 times and have experienced tremendous improvements, especially over the last ten years, in the hotel’s facilities, the food, and the service of the staff.

For many years we never had our dinner in the hotel, the last years we have had nearly all our meals at Capo Bay; breakfast in the buffet restaurant where the food is varied, always fresh and delicately presented, a la carte dinner in Guru restaurant or a quick meal in Mama’s, and often dinner in Elea buffet restaurant with different themes each night. Meal prices are reasonable, and even more reasonable if you stay for a few days and can take advantage of the Flexi dining voucher system.

We feel very welcome each time we return to Capo Bay. There are more or less the same experienced and friendly management and staff from year to year. In addition the hotel takes on trainees under education during peak season. With many trainees in the breakfast restaurant, you might wait a few minutes for your tea or coffee during the busiest period, and that is fully acceptable knowing that the hotel takes on the responsibility of training the next generation of staff. Rooms are always clean beyond expectation. You have all the facilities required for a holiday or business stay on the premises.

For us Capo Bay is like a second home, and the times we invite our children and grandchildren, they just love to come.
Three weeks in September 2012 are already booked!

Returned for our third visit and each time we find there have been further refurbishments and modernisation and the hotel looks extremely smart with excellent facilities. Bedrooms have been modernised and are always spotlessly clean. The staff and management are always extremely professional and helpful and it is so nice to see the same staff from one year to the next. Good position right on beach and love the brilliant system of sunbed being allocated to you at start of holiday. Great to have two good swimming pools one being for "proper" swimming. Hope to return next year.
