We booked a week here last minute for a one week sun and relax holiday and we were not disappointed! It's is fully inclusive and the choice of food and drink was great for the money - but ultimately I think it depends what price you paid as to whether you will think it's a good place. We got a great deal, paying half what a few people on our flight paid so we were very happy but I probably wouldn't have been so pleased had we paid double. If you are looking for a romantic break, looking to party or wanting culture I am not sure this is the hotel for you! If you are looking for a sunshine break, no hassle and don't mind big groups of families, a busy pool area and people piling up their plates at food time then this is a fine choice! The staff are nice, the hotel is clean albeit the rooms a bit dated and I would like to thank Daniel and the staff who sent champagne to my room for my birthday which was a nice touch!!!

This is not usually the type of hotel I would normally book, but I stayed there for my friend’s wedding, but as far as a wedding venue, it’s not the prettiest, even though it does look great on its website. There are a number of options of where to take the vows, but each one lacks in its beauty and from a bridesmaid’s point a view, it was disappointing. I also didn’t like how impersonal the ceremony was, as you have to pass the hotel’s swimming pool and guests before heading down the aisle – not good. There were also people watching the ceremony in their swimming costumes, shorts and sunscreen. Also the ceremony was too quick and there wasn’t even a rehearsal beforehand, so as bridesmaid, I didn’t know what to do.

The food both for the wedding and in general was only average. The swimming pool was a lot smaller than how it looks on the website and the grass hill and sun loungers were a bit grotty too.

The staff were as friendly as you’d expect, but I tipped some of the staff, as I often do on holiday and I felt like I wasted my money, as the service I received wasn’t any better and almost the opposite, in an odd way.

It is a 4 star resort, but only in what constitutes the star rating, rather than anything special it offers. I felt that I’d stayed in better 3 start hotels for less money. As it was nothing special, I shall not be returning.

Personally, I would never get married there - it doesn't fit the sunshine and sand wedding dream.

The only good things was the weather!

This hotel is just lovely. We chose it for our wedding on 11th August this year and came with our 6 children. The paperwork for the ceremony was very straightforward and the day we got wed was one of the most relaxing beautiful days I have ever experienced. The hotel catered for our every need and our wedding planner Rosanne was amazing and we cannot thank her enough for making our day so special. we had read about weddings at this hotel being impersonal and like being on a conveyor belt, this was very far from the case. The authorities restrict how many weddings They authorise and ours was the only wedding of the day so we felt very special....we were only a small wedding party in comparison to some but we felt just as cared for and important to the staff.
The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the food was varied and very tasty and plentiful. Our 9year old made some pottery with the kids club and had a lovely time and our other children ranging from 18 to 29 had a fantastic time with jet skis, snorkelling etc. We shall definitely be returning to the golden coast as soon as we are able. Just lovely...........

Just returned from our third visit to this lovely hotel. If you want relaxation in beautiful surroundings with excellent staff then this is the place to stay. We stayed all inclusive and the food and service for breakfast lunch and dinner is excellent, as are the restaurants,. There is no problem getting a sunbed and between the pool and down towards the sea plenty of space so it is not too crowded . Will return again as this is definitely the place to re charge your batteries.
