We stayed at the Tsokkos gardens during the October half term. We were meant to be staying at the Polycarpia but it had closed early so it was rearranged by Olympic Holidays three days before we flew out. To be honest I did feel a bit uneasy as the reviews were not totally sparkling. I need not have worried, it's a lovely place with comfortable rooms and the food was fabulous, anyone who says it isn't must be used to staying at the Ritz with fine dining! The staff were polite but not in your face and anything asked of them was done promptly.
I have to say that the hotel was looking a bit shabby in places, but as it was the end of the season and had had thousands of customers through it for a full summer, it wasn't surprising.
The pool areas were great with plenty of beds to go around. The snacks served at the pool bar were o.k.but nothing really to write home about. The location is about five minutes walk from the sea by going through the grounds of another Tssokos hotel which leads to the new sea front path that goes all the way to Protaras which was a lovely walk in the late afternoon.
Overall we enjoyed our stay even though as mentioned in other reviews we asked for a "quiet room", and were put right over the outside bar and stage which was loud until about 11.30pm, so insist on a room that doesn't overlook it (there are plenty of these) if you want peace and quiet.
In my opinion, the Tssokos Gardens Hotel is a very good 3 star hotel but not quite a 4 and I would go there again.
