“Good Location”

If you could book room only this would be ideal for this hotel. Stayed 16 nights returning 23rd Oct. The Location is superb with great views and good access to the beach. We stayed half board and unfortunately I have to say the food was largely inedible and hardly anything put out, almost as if the staff were holding it back to share out, don't think of complaining beacause no one is interested. My partner is vegetarian and we soon got wise to the fact that they had a menu which you had to ask for which they would prepare fresh, they were not very happy at supplying this and on many occassions the chef complained to the waiters, when you could find one !!!
I have stayed in many different Tsokkos Hotels and always been happy, good food, good service etc, this hotel lets the side down very badly and will damage Tsokkos reputation particularly for those who have never visited Cyprus before. The ultimate feeling was that it is nearly end of season and guests are in the way because they want to close.

Never take any meal plan or you will go hungry or end up eating out

Come on Tsokkos put in a strong Hotel Management team and sort it out, I know you can do much better.

“Bed & Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Me & My Wife have just returned from Protaras, this is the 4th hotel we have stayed in at the resort, but the first time we have went bed & breakfast, the hotel is clean & well ran although a makeover of the rooms wouldnt go amiss, the maid service is excellent although they are sometimes a bit too keen to get in and get their job done, one morning coming into our room at 8:45 am only to be swiftly told where to go by my wife...lol. This is a 3 Star hotel,so dont expect the lap of luxury, breakfast has a good choice from a full fry up to the usual continental breakfasts & the food is good, but half board & all inclusive guests didnt give good reports about the main meals. It is a perfectly situated hotel on the main Protaras strip & is close to all the good bars & restuarants, the beach is amazing & as good if not better than anywhere else on The Med, very cheap to eat & drink 2 euros for a pint of Keo in most of the main bars & a fantastic selection of places to eat, Steens restuarant is a must for Brits looking for a taste of home cooked food. If I do have a criticism of the hotel, is that there were an unusually high number of flies and they will have to do something to control them as they are rather off putting when eating or trying to relax on loungers. Overall I would go back to the hotel without any hesitation & we more than enjoyed our 2 weeks. Well worth it.

Room Tip: Get a even number room for a stunning sea view.

“Location great”

Back last week, stayed fully inclusive. As on other reviews food okay if eaten when first put up.Tends to get dry as time proceeds. Staff fantastic, very friendly and cleaning staff couldn t do enough. Experienced ants in the room, mentioned it to the cleaning crew who promptly returned with spray.....ants gone!!!
Husband disappointed with the room, very basic, was clean but smaller than anticipated, we also had a room with adjoining door-felt like we were in the same room as the neighbours they were very noisy.
We were very surprised we had to pay for the use of the room safe, also had to put deposit down for the tv controls.
Beach at bottom of hotel was beautiful, location central for using local buses/booking trips and seeing the island/exploring the culture.
Would visit Cyrpus again but probably would not stay in this hotel

“good value for money”

This hotel is an excellent choice if you want a reasonably priced holiday and comes with its good and bad points but overall for a 3 star hotel you cant go wrong.

The good - its location is excellent and right in the middle of the strip where you can find many cheap eats and entertainment and you are right on the beach. We were on the first floor and i was pleasantly suprised after booking 2 rooms with an inland view to find that we had amazing side seaviews 124 and 126 (try to get an even number as the view is not restricted by the hotel next door we had a room on the 4th floor 413 on the last day to get showered and changed in and the view or the room wasnt as nice) Originally thought the bed were too soft but slept like a baby throughout so must have been good - ask for extra pillows as you only get 1 and they are very thin. Cleanliness was good all over albeit a few ants in the room but they didnt bother us.The rooms are getting a bit tired but again the one we had for nearly all of the trip on the 1st floor was a lot better than the one of the 4th floor. The staff are lovely and very hardworking all the girls and guys were great in the restaurant. Elaina was brilliant behind the bar and our favourite had to be Dorina who was fantastic and kept us all completely entertained throughout the holiday with various games. The sea view from the reception was amazing.

There was only really two bad points and that was the food which had obviously been regurgitated through breakfast, lunch and dinner and was very limited but you could still find something decent to eat but again this is a 3 star hotel so what can you expect? the other was if you wanted to sit on the beach you had to pay 2 euros each for the chairs however if you get up a little earlier get the lovely soft chairs by the pool or you are pretty much crowded into a garden area which is not so good.

Overall met some lovely people which really made our holiday and had a fab time.
