“Good Quality Apartments - well located”

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens) and found the Brilliant Apartments to be modern, clean and spacious.

Pool and gardens well maintained and supermarket over the road was ideal for self catering.

Its an easy 5 minute walk down to the strip of restaurants and shops and slightly further to the beach, Fig Tree Bay beach is a little further away as a walk but worth it for the clearer sea waters

Room Tip: We were on the ground flloor which was fine as the gardens shielded us from the road

“One of the best we have been to”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

Booked this hotel on the recommendation of friends who had stayed at a nearby complex and advised that this looked the best, it had been refurbished before we arrived, the property was stunning in all aspects. The rooms were light and furnished well, the rooms a good size, the one bedroom room suited us as a family of 4 perfectly. Lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

The entertainment on offer was good at both the kids clubs and in the evening, yes it did get noisy for the nights that you didnt want to attend, but overall I really cant complain. Food was decent and once a week they had a nevening barbeque, good value and lots of nice food for all. The pools were a good size and a decent level of shade in the small pool for younger children with plenty of loungers for all guest, I really can not fault this hotel and would return without a doubt.

The location was perfect, sat up on top of the hill (supermarket next door for all those doing self catering) a 5 min walk down into the main resort area for the bars and restaurants, but far enough away for the noise not to be an issue. Fig Tree bay is approx 20 mins walk, but a small price in a cab or you can park the car close by.

Dont look any further than this hotel!

Room Tip: If noise is a problem for you, go for one of the outer facing rooms

“Great place to stay”

We stayed at the Brilliant Apartments in September. Modern and clean with all essentials provided. It was our first time in Cyprus and this hotel is ideally situated close to town.
We were on the third floor so we had no problem with noise.
The pool is fabulous it is certainly the best I have seen.
We were self catering but had lunch there several times and wasn't disappointed at quality or price.
Hope to go back to Protaras next year and will definitely stay here again.
Would recommend Ripples Bar for great welcome and great food. Also Nicolas Tavern the lamb was to die for and the owner and his wife are lovely people.

“It's what it says on the tin........Brilliant!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the brilliants on the 9th oct for 2 weeks, and it was the best holiday we have ever had. We could not believe the size of the rooms and how modern and spacious they were, the bed was very comfy for a hotel bed and massive!! i loved the fact there was lots of storage space for all my clothes rather than them being crumpled in my suitcase for two weeks. The television was also an extremely good size and there was quite a few english channels to choose from. The maids cleaned the rooms 6 days out of 7 so the rooms were kept spotless and towels were changed everyday, this goes to the rest of the hotel too as it was very clean and spotless. Staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful we emailed the brilliants a few months before we were due to arrive to ask for a pool view room and it's exactly what we got! on our leaving day we werent getting picked up from our hotel until quarter to three so we asked reception if we could book the room till 3 o'clock and they did this straight away for us and it was free of charge which was great.

The pool area was great...especially the pool bar :) we never had a problem getting a sun lounger and there wasn't many people who put there towels on a sun lounger and left them there all day so that was good, the pool was a very good size too and very clean.

We didn't really check out the entertainment from the hotel we did watch a singer that was very good one night.

The location was great we were five minutes away from the main strip where there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, i'd suggest romeo tavern for chicken from the spit (one of the best meals me and my boyfriend have had) and for a traditional cypriot meal like lamb kleftico i'd suggest Nicolas Tavern.. We did not have a single bad meal whilst we were there!! If you enjoy cocktails get down to the love boat, lots of choice and they usually have a film on most nights and free wifi for anyone who needs to check stuff on their phones.

Me and my boyfriend will definatley be returning to the Brilliants next year a lovely hotel and a lovely island with lots of things to do :) i'm very suprised that this hotel is only a three star, i hope to see this hotel upgraded to a 4 star because it deserves to be!!
