went there last year, (october) very nice hotel, good food, very clean, night life good, very friendly, we will be going back next year, protaras is a very nice clean place,

We have just returned from our third visit in a row at the odessa.We recieved the usual friendly welcome from reception and offered a refreshingly cool drink.
The room ,recently refurbished, was imaculate and was kept that way, well done cleaners!
The lobby area is very pleasant and comfortable with a nice bar.
All the staff we came in contact with were smart, pleasant,helpfull and efficient.
Both restraunts are very nice with a good selection of food of all nations,however the hot food, particulally at dinner was not as hot as should have been.
The pool area is quite nice but the sunbeds especially on the grassed area are in drastic need of replacement.
We didn't see much of the entertainment so can't comment.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient position for beach and shops, bars, restraunts etc.
Overall a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return to or recommend the ODESSA.

We stayed for a week in early October and to be honest were a bit disappointed. This is not a 4 star hotel. A 3 staf??? Not even that. Service in the restaurant was slow, Food was luke warm and desserts were the same thing every night. Holes in the carpet were a trip hazard and the room used for breakfast and lunch were not that clean. Fruit juice was disgusting and watered down and if you don't enjoy smoked bacon and smoked savaloy style susages for breakfast, tough! A dose of food poisoning didn't help, neither did the cockroches in the bedroom and around the outside of the hotel by the pool. The whole place needs updating, it all looked very tired. The bedroom wasn't too bad and the bed was really confortable. Most staff were helpful but it's not enough to make me want to go back. While I would go back to Cyprus, I wouldn't go back to this hotel again.

My husband and I have just returned from a two week holiday in the Odessa Hotel. The hotel was first class apart from the sunbeds, they really need to be renewed to provide the comfort expected by guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. More suitable music would be appreciated by retired couples eg. relaxing music, not too loud. We would like to return to the Odessa some time in the future.
