“A Favourite B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011

This was our favourite b & b's we stayed at during our 3 week holiday in Ireland and Scotland. We stayed 3 nights and were warmly welcomed by Jim and Joy right from our first phone call on our arrival at the ferry station. Jim helped us find a car rental and provided wonderful advice on places to see and eat which were all fantastic. Jim and Joy made us feel as if we were very special guests in their home. The room was spacious, spotless and suited our needs perfectly. Their home is an excellent location for touring the Antrim Coast.

“Good stay near centre, with excellent hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2011

Myself and my wife stayed here whilst touring Ireland. The welcome from Jim was very warm and he is an entertaining character. He and Joy provide a very good service. He even put my car in his garage as some of our belongings were on view! Room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. Jim recommended a restaurant in town (which is a short 5 minute stroll away) called Carriages, which was excellent.

“Excellent in every respect.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2010

From the minute you're greeted by Jim and Joy you feel at home and comfortable. The Ulster breakfast was designed and built in Harland & Wolfe! We could not have asked for more from our hosts, as they gave plenty over and above the norm for B&B. Jim gives sterling advice about the local eateries and were best to see the local attractions. Joy keeps him straight! It was a great holiday made all the more special by this great couple and their home.
Many thanks JIm & Joy for allowing us to join a small part of your lives.
Kevin and Sue Pollett.

“Felt very much at home. Lovely place to stay. Would definitely recommend.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 June 2010

Jim and Joy were very accommodating, friendly and made us feel at home. We required an extra bed and were happily supplied a cot. Good size family room.
Got very good tips on where to go and what to do in N.Ireland as we had never been there before..
Great breakfast, kept us going for the entire day.
We would definitely stay there again.

“A must stay location in Larne”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2010

I had the immense pleasure of staying here with my wife and 17year old daughter, whilst in Larne during May. Where to start.....Firstly the welcome by both Jim and Joy, two thoroughly lovely people whom couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The bedrooms were spotless and well appointed, with a homely feel that you can't get in hotels. The Ulster fry at breakfast was a sight to see and a challenge to finish, but well worth having a go!
A special treat was a helping of "Irish porridge" which can only be described as superb! (Praise indeed from a Scotsman!)
I have no hesitation in recommending the Inverbann, whether you're young, old, single, married with family (or without),or a group, I'm sure the welcome will be the same.
Just be careful not to laugh too much as the 'craic' over breakfast was non-stop. You'll need a handkerchief to wipe away the tears of laughter.
We will be sure to return.
