Overall a very good place to stay but the overnight parking charge was a bit expensive on top of the cost of the room. The Novotel in Bordeaux Lac does not charge for parking so that worked out at better value for me but the Bilbao Hotel is better overall.

Great hotel apart from not having enough bed space for a family of four in a family room as there was one bed and one very small bed settee that was not big enough for two. The shower flooded the bathroom as the seal on the shower screen had broken. This was actually quite dangerous as the floor was very slippy. However great bar area and fantastic breakfast. We got a good deal and having stayed at an Etap the following night which was dreadful but more expensive, overall we were pleased.

Made reservation last December for August and I booked an ordinary room but on arrival asked for disable room for my husband who is now in wheelchair, staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and quiet.

I stayed here with my wife and 2 children the night before our ferry home at the end of our summer holiday. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel; it is a typical chain hotel but was clean and modern. The receptionist was very friendly and knowing we had children they were both given a small teddy, a nice touch. The room was large and well equipped with an equally large, clean and modern bathroom.

The food was of good quality and value. The hotel is very good value for money and is an ideal place to stay if you have a ferry to catch the next day.

My only complaint is that you have to pay for parking and the entrance to the car park is very hard to find.
