Stayed here as part of a cycling group with Bikestyle Tours. An interesting place and not a bad option for visiting the Loire Valley and the towns of Amboise and Blois. Rooms are certainly interesting and varied, but the people in my group all thought it was great fun with the themed rooms. Aircon worked okay- good as it was hot. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent quality, not massive portions, but very good French cuisine and a bit more interesting than some meals you get in French hotels.

We stayed here on an overnight trip from Paris to the Loire Valley to visit the Festival International des Jardins at the Chateau de Chaumont. The hotel itself is an excellent choice and good value. The service is very friendly and helpful, but be aware, there are no restaurants within walking distance (this is a small village) so you have to eat in the hotel restaurant.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and were very disappointed. Unimaginative first courses; probably fozen fish. It is too bad because they have captive audience.

The breakfast is fine.

It is too bad that the quality of the restaurant is not at the level of the three stars of the hotel.

Enter the courtyard and expect a traditional converted French Chateau. Not so, Arabian Knight decorations in the foyer and our room could well have been in Istanbull. Quirky, but clean, tidy and great setting close to Amboise and the Loire valley. Eat in the hotel after a long drive from UK and it was super and very popular. Would recomend to anyone on a wine tour as a relaxing break from the vigours of the day. Would be great if it had a pool.
