Just returned from a week at these apartments. Very pleasantly surprised on our arrival, even having checked them out on the internet. Our apartment was on the ground floor with a patio opening directly out onto the pool area (which is very attractive). The pool itself is not very large but serves its purpose, and there are plenty of sun beds. The bedroom window opened onto the street (not busy) with a beautiful sea view. The apartment was large and spotlessly clean, if slightly dated, but everything was in good working order and we had all that we needed. The main selling point is the location - 1 minute from the centre of Fornells, but on a quiet road overlooking the sea. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the apartments which serves decent food at prices which are not as over-inflated as some in Fornells. It was busy most days and evenings, which was unusual as most other restaurants in the village were mostly deserted. The only negative - and it's not in their control - is that the community bins situated opposite the apartments are emptied every 2 or 3 days (by the local council?) and this is carried at 2am!
With inflation in Menorca and the bad Euro/£ exchange rate our everyday expenses (food, drink etc) worked out at 3 times what they cost 2 years ago. Expect to pay at least £30 for a beer, main course and coffee for 2 people.
