Stayed at this hotel in July 2011 with my boyfriend. upon arrival at Corfu Airport we where told that we had a long wait as there was a taxi strike on and they where using the coaches that we has paid for (to drop us off at hotel) as public transport. After waiting an hour at 5am - sat on our suitcases outside the airport the coach finally arrived! We then arrived at the hotel after thinking that we had had some luck as we where the second or third drop off, we seen the hotel - let's just say we both looked up in amazement as the hotel was on top of a HUGE hill! Although we did have a very nice man who was waiting with a van to take us and our luggage up to the hotel. Arriving in reception we where told that we needed to sign a form (which was all in Greek and needless to say neither of us understood what he where supposed to write on this form. When we finally where shown to our room, I don't think anyone had stayed in there for a while as the door just wouldn't open! It took my boyfriend to try and open it by force as we didn't know our way back to reception and where not going to attempt to walk those hills at 6am!! When the door finally opened we where ready for the usual holiday feeling of "ahhhhhhhh" and ready to relax but..... The room was tiny, moldy and designed back in the 60s-70s! Entering the bath room was even worse - there was stains in the toilet, bath, tiles and sink. We even had ants running around the bathroom floor! The bathroom door didn't even shut! At this point we where both ready to tackle those hills to get to reception!!! We both agreed to wait until morning and see our rep as wel as reception, but getting into bed proved not better there was stains on the sheets and the beds where hard and lumpy! Speaking to reception the next day got us nowhere - we where just told they would send the housekeeper, which she arrived later that day and just told us to leave the balcony door open when we are out and that would solve the smell - to which I was not keen on as I am not willing to leave my hotel room open to burglars! We went back to reception and complained again to which they then advised that there was stains in the bathroom due to THEIR SEWAGE SYSTEM! We where so not happy with this response and demanded another room but the receptionist just looked at use in sheer discust and said "that is one of our best rooms" - this said it all for us. After saying in this room for 3 days we where both ready for home! thank God we where only staying for 1 week. Let's put it this way if you want to spend half your holiday cleaning your ant infested, mouldy room and spending 20euro on cleaning products this holel is defiantly for you! We will not be returning to this hotel or the island as quite frankly it was DIRTY!

I have been on several holidays with 4 star ratings but who the hell rated this one ? I have vented my disappointment with my booking agent but they are passing the buck!
On our arrival we was given a room at the top of the hill which was nothing like described in the brochure, we complained and 2 days later got moved eventually into main hotel after intense argument at reception. That room was no better shower did not work properly and air con didn't work either. Guess what another room which we had to put up with for remainder of our 1 week stay . None of the rooms look like they did on the Internet - do not be fooled! Pool was filthy and so were the loungers around it ,so was the beach. All inclusive but you couldn't even get an ice cream!
There's plenty more to moan about but I would definitely give this a 1 star rating and that's being generous . Ps: never got to see the Hotel manager so a comment would be fasticle .

This place is the pits, ok the location is not bad and the serving staff really try. That's good bits. The sewage plant stinks, beach is a joke and night time entertain, don't ask. Bar is overworked and long wait. It could be great but lacks investment. Please don't trust good reviews, the girl at reception writes most of them.

We loved this resort, i took my partner for his 30th birthday and it was my daughters first holiday, we really enjoyed this holiday and would go back,
The staff were amazing, so helpful, and kind, the resort was very clean and the food we great, they had so many choices and it tasted great.
the beach was good, we also went to another beach about a 20 min drive away which was beautiful, i think it was called halikaniski beach, not sure how its spelt,
The hotel staff helped us book trips to the blue lagoon, prince philips home and speed boats trips, the spead boad taxi cost 30 euros return, which was good.

we did a greek bbq on the beach, which the staff made a beautiful chocolate cake for my boyfriend and sang happy birthday to him, which was a nice touch to the holiday.
we did losts of greek dancing and plate smashing, which my daughter loved.
The entertaiment were really good, carlos, danielle and abbie, became friends of ours, they were amazing with our daughter, she was really up set having to leave them, carlos even wrote a goodbuy letter to her, which was lovely.

The hotel resturant manager was great, he couldnt do enough for us, anything we wanted he did, he helped made our stay amazing.

All in all this is a great place to go and stay, we are so pleased we picked this place and there was so much to do, and te fact they all couldnt do enough for us was lovely.

The pools were fantastic, clean and big, at both pool there were bars and food to keep watered and fed, again service was great.

we love sentido aeolos resort, and cant wait to go back.
