This pristine hotel is beautifully located on a very uncrowded part of the beach (even though we were there in the height of the season), a little outside of Zahara de Los Atunes. We paid €169 a night for a room "with sitting room". Actually, the sitting room is really just an extension of the bedroom - so I imagine the standard rooms may be on the small side. We had a balcony looking out to the sea. The view is not uninterrupted, as the original two star hotel is below - but you still get beautiful sea views, with Cape Trafalgar to one side and Africa to the other, and the sound of the foaming Atlantic surf. Even though the hotel was full, one didn't have that impression - very calm and quiet. Service was charming and there was an excellent buffet breakfast. Dinner is in a separate building, the Antonio Restaurant - stunning views of sunset over Cape Trafalgar. Food good if not enormously exciting. Strongly recommend Gaspars in town for top quality food and service. Don't bring the car - parking is problematic and it's only a short walk.
