“Not a bad product”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2007

This is a chain/tourist hotel - and none the worse for that.Well kept and direct access to a very good beach.

Food ok but drinks very overpriced.Staff are pleasant and efficient.Pool is nice

The hotel is about 4 km from Zahara de Los Atunes ( ZDLA)which itself is not exactly Ibiza Town ( people are very leathery looking) so in the evening in October there is nothing to do outside the Hotel unless Jurgen's bar is open- stand in front of the main entrance and 50m or so straight ahead, veering slightly to your right.

At one end of the very long beach you have ZDLA, home of the leathery people. At the other end is the hotel and some lovely homes climbing up the hill.In between there are are two possibly three large urbanizacions. These seem to be quite recent and are well kept.
However out of high season there is no - one around. Why do the Spanish insist on destroying their coastline? Haven't they learnt the lesson of the Costa Del Sol?

Great hotel-its got everything you need!! My boyfriend and I just wanted a quiet holiday lying by the pool all day, popping to the beach and this hotel was just perfect. The room was big, had a balcony with a table and chairs, the room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was amazing and as we had booked half board we had the Buffet dinner everynight which was Out of this World. The beach is only 5 mins walk from the hotel (if that) and its georgeous-clean-white sand!! Water was a bit cold though. The Hotel has entertainment but its only in the background unless you want to get involved, recommend the Saturday night "CHILL OUT night" by the pool. As i said if you want a very chilled out holiday, lots of reading, sunbathing, sleeping - a do nothing holiday - this is the place to come!! If you want to go out to see places then i would recommend renting a car. There is a small supermarket right next too the hotel (on your right when you go out of the main doors) where you can buy everything, we emptied the mini bar and just stocked up with the drinks and nibbles we preferred. Hope you enjoy this hotel as much as we did!!

“Superb”

Loved this hotel, the layout is quite unusual and you would never know you were in a hotel, it's so quiet at night. You are guaranteed a great nights sleep. NO teenagers at all but lots of small children. There are 2 pools, the main pool is huge and a lovely smaller one near the entrance to the beach, both are spotless.

We stayed here half board for two weeks, the food was excellent. Room service was every day & the rooms were spotless and a lovely size with great storage space. All the staff were very polite and friendly.

We were surprised to be charged €10.00 for sunbeds on the beach every
day but the beach is so beautiful and unspoilt with a wonderful Atlantic breeze to cool you down that we didn't mind. The little town of Zahara is lovely, very spanish with lots of little restaurants (not cheap)

Would definitely recommend this hotel to couples with young children and to older couples for a romantic quiet holiday. Definitely not for
teenagers, it's far too quiet & there's nothing for them to do.

For €1500 for half board for 2 people for 2 weeks it was worth every cent. Definitely going back!!

This hotel was nice, with a gorgeous swimming pool, very tranquil very nice beach (and located right behind the hotel, 1min walk) with good service, nice spacious room and okay food. The restaurant, drinks and spa is definately over-priced, but other than that we enjoyed ourselves.
