This is a difficult review to write. My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October for two nights. The grounds are beautiful , the hotel is beautiful and the people are lovely. What's odd about it is the pampering. Yes, I'm complaining that they pamper you too much. Now, don't think they is something wrong with us. I felt like they knew our every move. We were asked multiple times about eating at the hotel and that we should make a reservation. As far as I could see, there wasn't going to me a mad rush to eat there and as I told several people at the front desk, we couldn't commit to eating there as we wanted to be in town. They just didn't listen to us..they made a reservation anyway and when we didn't show up they questioned us. I reiterated what I told them earlier in the day. I felt like I was insulting them for not wanting to eat at the hotel. If you can overlook the obsessive pampering, the hotel is wonderful. It's about 3 miles to town but it's not walkable as there are some highways involved. It's a great place to stay if you're going to the vineyards (we went to Pommard and loved it!!!!!). The people in Beaune are wonderful. We actually misplaced our rental car on our first day in town. It was getting dark and I was nervous so we stopped at a Pharmacy for help and several people offered to help us find our car. We accepted help from the pharmacist who was wonderful. We did find our car and we wanted to pay her for her time. She refused but we ultimately thew some euros on the car seat and said Merci. Keep in mind, this was all done in broken French. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend the hotel but be forewarned of the obsessive pampering.

We would recommend this hotel very highly. Wonderful owners who take the time to meet and get to know their guests. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms with nice modern decor. Delicious food in the restaurant. Left feeling recharged and relaxed. Will be back there again

Great accommodation with very friendly service. The rooms were huge and came with free parking. We got a deal where we got to visit Chateau Marsault as part of the package. It was a brilliant experience with fantastic wine. It was a perfect stay. Only slight drawback is the food at the restaurant. Its a great place but the food is just a little salty which is a shame for such a great restaurant

Hostellerie de levernois is tucked away in the countryside off the Rue de grands crus . A beautiful drive through the vinyards to get there, and once you arrive it is better yet! We were cheerfully greeted in French and English and shown to our beautiful, large modern room, filled with sunlight and bright red colors. Crispy linens with the cleanest bathroom. The grounds of Levernois are like being a a fairy tale with the bourzaine river and little streams running through the property, a water wheel, several walking bridges and places to hide. We packed a picknique for lunch and enjoyed this beautiful property in the countryside. Before dinner, we enjoyed a very educational approach to wine tasting with maps of the region and tasted grand crus of the region. Dinner was presented in such a relaxed manner and was not inhibitng. Every course was presented as a piece of art and explained very clearly in English and in French, as I preferred. Breakfast was served in a country setting in the cave downstairs.The kitchen was open view for everyone to see, which was a delight to the eyes. There is a little boutique as well. Suzanne the owner was highly visible at all times, making sure that her guests were comfortable and enjoying their stay. She even took the time to make us a map for getting to Dijon so we wouldn't have any trouble getting through the construction. This is a first class place with everyone happy and loving their jobs. It really shows and is important to the guests. . We loved it here and wished to have stayed longer. We will be back!!! ,
