We decided to spend a weekend in Ibiza in November, when not every hotel is open, so we were happy to find an appartment for the 4 of us for just 45 euros/night. I guess that the price is the summer is much higher, because it’s on the beach and has a nice swimming-pool which we obviously couldn’t use.

The appartments have been refurbished lately, and they are quite big with a nice terrasse overlooking the beach. The area was quite empty at that time of the year, but there are a couple of supermarkets, a pharmacy and several restaurants nearby. We drove our rented car, but it’s walkable distance to the centre of Ibiza.

We’d gladly go back, but preferably in the summer!

Lido Apartments in Figueretas - worst accommodation we've ever stayed in. Concrete "cells", BUSY overcrowded, locals, young people, constant continual noise 24/7, terrible, hear everything/everyone else -door banging, shouting, feet, furniture movement,people washing/toilet/cooking, linen like crepe paper, terrible bedding, sleep impossible. Figueretas very nice, good restaurants but these apartments are hell on earth. DO NOT STAY THERE. They are not 3 star more like -1 star. Staff miserable and not interested.

We moved to the Lido after staying at the Lux Mar. The Apartments were spacious with good sized balconies. We went self catering and the kitchen was large and usable.
There was limited reception time, due to the time of year, but they were friendly and very helpful. The location is great, right by the sea and some outstanding eateries. It is slightly farther to walk into Ibiza town than the Lux Mar, but it is not an unpleasant walk either through the town or along the beach, takes about 15 mins. It is close to bus routes and shops.
We stayed there during the flight disruption, due to the volcano, they reduced the price a little for us, I thought it was excellent value.

On a previous vist to this area some years ago we saw these apartments, which I think at the time were being used by a tour operator, we liked what we saw so booked for this year and it wasnt cheap. We arrived at the hotel after having to wait for over an hour at the airport for a taxi, the reception had closed at midnight so we had to wait around for a security guard to eventually arrive, who gave us the keys to our apartment. The room was ok, being clean except for dirty cutlery, no air conditioning and no window to speak of in the bedroom, making it vey hot at night. In daylight it became obvious that the properties were now privately owned, some looked permanently lived in, with customised balconies, with small dogs running around on. Looking down on the bamboo roof of the covered area near to the pool were numerous discarded items including food, toilet rolls, shoes, sunglasses and other items, some of which looked like they had been there for a while. The ground floor parts of the complex, which I think would once had been the communal areas when used by a tour operator, had the curtains drawn or had the windows whitened out. The apartments seem now to attract the party goers as there were groups of Spanish and Italian males some who were noisey thoughout each night and into the morning and one group took great pleasure in throwing things from the balconies including lighted cigarettes, one morning one was seen to urinate from one of the top balconies, maybe we were unlucky and this is not the norm for these apartments. The whole complex looks old and tired. On a positive side the pool was very clean and was cleaned daily as were the rooms.The location of the apartments could not be better but I dont think we will be going back, in fact I know we wont be going back.
