What can I say about the Mira Mola..well the first time I didn't book a holiday for friends & allow someone else to do it would be the last, if somewhere like the Mira Mola (we renamed Malaria) turned up.
Great location, Figueretas is also a nice resort, with some chilled out bars..Mira Mola is right near the sea, you can find it really easy as you pass all the hotels like Es Vive along the fron with their chilled out pools..as the Mira Mola is like a circus of animals going wild, diving into the pool, throwing items off the balcony, chav central sprang to mind the week we were there. So bad, we gatecrashed someone else's pool a couple of hotels down (sadly couldn't climb the gate to get in Es Vive)..
The rooms are described as being fashionable and cosy on a hotel website.. fashionable yes, for 1965..and unchanged since then.. cosy.. yes.. we couldn't open the bedroom door for the bed being in the way (shame on a room having a bed in it)..not the cleanest place I have stayed in.. or the safest..and the bedroom window opens onto a main walkway.. full of 13 year olds sipping WKD and abusing everyone walking past..while the parents were on the lash in the bar downstairs..sadly full of the type of loud mouthed loutish families that makes you ill to be British..
DO NOT stay here is the advice..if you want a quality/quiet/relaxing holiday. Do stay here if you want a decent base for Eivissa, Playa D'en Bossa & the resort itself is nice..
I never slate hotels as I always pick a gem, but this one kind of ruined the holiday, we spent as much time away from it as we could. I think this hotel was so badly rated that Thomson dropped it from their brochure.. I can truly see why.. At your own risk..
