We really enjoyed our 2 weeks at the Golden Sands. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially the front desk and housekeepers. The rooms are very large and well furnished, with all the necessary kitchen appliances, dishes, etc. That saved us a lot of money, being able to make meals for ourselves, and just go out to eat once a day. A/C worked very well. We relaxed by the pool every morning, and went to the beach across the street in the afternoon. The beach was beautiful--very nice sand, small waves, and not rocky. Most evenings we would take pool chairs to the beach, with our drinks, and watch the sunset on our "private beach"!

The location is great too--a 10-minute walk to Oistins, with a large supermarket, and the fish market, of course. We loved buying fresh fish and cooking it in our studio apt. The Friday Fish Fry is always great fun too! If we wanted to go anyplace further, the bus stop is across from the hotel.

There is a computer in the lobby we could use, which was very helpful when our return flight was cancelled because of another winter storm. We were rescheduled to fly home 2 days later, and fortunately, we could stay in our room until then. We've been to Barbados before, but are glad we found the Golden Sands this year, and hope to return again next winter.

Staff members are very friendly and helpful with you needs. The location of this hotel is great, not to far from Ostins Fish Market for Friday night events and not to far from St. Lawrence Gap, (nightlife area) and the beach is right across from this location. In addition this hotel has been greatly renovated with a fresh new look. Golden Sands hotel is highly recommended by me!

I am from Jesolo Italy which is a resort near on the beach, so I am used to the beach, but my stay at Golden Sands was really special. This was my second time there and I was so impressed with the renovations and the new look of the hotel. The quality of service is great and the rooms were so comfortable and clean. I really loved the beach and I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice quiet resort to spend a vacation. The management and staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and I really had a good time. I am looking forward to my next trip.. Grazie Golden Sands. Mi sono divertito Molto!

Staging a multi island training course in the Caribbean can be a very time consuming event, but it was most pleasing to put our accommodation needs into the capable hands of Mechelle Johnson and her team at The Golden Sands Hotel.

The Hotel was clean, very friendly and dealt extremely well with the diverse requirements of 21 Delegates. This family apartment hotel will see more of my groups in the future. Well done Mechelle, keep up the good work
