True, one needs one afternoon to see this beautiful llittle town but still it is a"overnight" worth!
It´s location is perfect, in short distance to the main entrance of the Krka Watrefalls National Nature Park and it takes only a "jump" to Šibenik city. Skradin offers a lot od nice restaurants and a lot of beautiful untouched nature. It also offers differnet kinds of private accomodation, the hotel though is cheap, with nice, invinting staff, a good ***breakfast and service. I enjoyed it!

My first piece of advice would be to reconsider whether you really need to overnight in Skradin at all given this place is the only hotel in town. Sure it's a pretty enough town with a bustling marina but it can easily be explored in under an hour and of all the places we visited during a month holidaying in Croatia this wouldn't be on our must see list. The waterfalls are readily doable as a day trip from split or zadar and you can take the hourly boat that departs from Skradin to the start of the falls whether you overnight in town or not. As for this hotel, I'm only giving it a 3 because of the fact the staff were friendly, the terrace and restaurant pleasant and the breakfast decent. The room I would rate as a 2. Small, very dated and generally grim. You need to read between the lines with the room amenities as well. Yes there's a mini bar, but it's empty. Yes there's a satellite tv, but it has no international channels in English. Yes there's an air conditioning unit but it was so weak it barely took the edge off the heat and we slept with the windows open in the end. In the height of summer we would definitely have had to leave. And contrary to some other available information on this hotel, every room does not have a balcony nor Internet access, although you can access the Internet in the lobby. I'd avoid this one.

Skradin is one of those unexpected hideaway, a beautiful little town with sweet alleys, a small marina and wonderful sweet/salty waters. A block away from the hotel is the boat to KRKA.

The hotel itself is small and nice. 2 floors without an elevator. We got a 2+2 room and a double room on the second floor. The air conditioning in large room was not sufficient, so they brought in a ventilator. Breakfast was very nice on a lovely balcony.

Given its the only hotel in Skradin I highly recommend you stay there.

This hotel and the small town of Skradin both exceeded our expectations.
The hotel might not be the most modern or stylish place in the world, but it's perfect as a base from which to explore this lovely area. It's in keeping with the feel of the town and has something of a charm about it.
The staff were extremely polite, helpful and efficient and the breakfast buffet was fresh, varied and plentiful.
We had the added benefit of a room with a balcony, which was lovely - well worth requesting. There are also plenty of car parking spaces
