We stayed here for one night while driving down Croatia in August. It is well positioned in the town centre and a short walk down to the riverside. There is a small secure car park on site. The lady at reception was pleasant and helpful with any queries and allowed us to leave the car parked after checkout the next day when we were at Krka. It was unclear on the booking engine and hotel website what we would get as a family room so was pleasantly surprised at the size. It consisted of a good sized double room with an ensuite bathroom and a smaller double room - ample space for 2 adults and 2 kids (probably could have fit a 3rd in but not sure of occupancy regulations). Decor was slightly basic but clean and confortable. The airconditioning seemed to be a 'not too efficient' version of cold water radiators but it was difficult to leave the windows open as we were above the outside patio of the restaurant . Dinner here was tasty, filling and served with an extra smile for the kids. Breakfast had a reasonable buffet choice. Wifi was available. As a tip, bypass the queues at the Krka ticket office down the road and head straight for the free boat trip at the riverside. You can then get your ticket at the landing entrance booth where hopefully the queue will be a bit shorter. Or if full of energy after your buffet breakfast head down past the public town car park to the bridge and there is an entrance to the path (about 3 km) along the river which takes you to the same landing ticket booth.

We wanted to visit the Skradinski Buk national park and this seemed the nearest location. The hotel has its own car park. They had a room for us, unfortunately on the 3nd floor and there is no lift. The room was of reasonable size, but really cold. We found an old convector heater in a corner which we plugged in to the only socket (no tv and heat at the same time). This eventually got the room to merely cool and with lots of bedclothes we managed to sleep without freezing.

The restaurant was basic but we had good food, and it wasn't expensive, and a choice of wines. The breakfast was buffet style, surprisingly as there were only a couple of other rooms occupied. There was free internet.

Overall this was ok for a single night - close to the centre of town.

Beautiful location, right at the beginning of the pedestrian street. Their restaurant is good. Rooms are small and a bit over-furnished. I rearranged the furniture to give me a little more room. Room 303 was a teeny single, but it did have a small balcony. Room 105 was a double (twin beds pushed together), on the first floor over the hotels outdoor seating - so it could be noisy. Breakfast buffet was good.

Wonderful basic hotel that offered exactly what was needed in order to have a lovely stay in a beautiful and non touristy area of Croatia. No fuss, no nonsense and no sneering tourists or commercialisation- just a pure and simple hotel with lovely homely staff and friendly faces. Don't expect boutique and luxury. Go with low expectations and sit back and just enjoy the excellent location in the middle of a lovely town called Skradin on the edge of the Krka National Park. It only worked so well for us because we used it as a base for a few days while part of an adventure group. It was perfect for what we needed; spotlessly clean, no pretentious guests and local expertise of the area. Decent food too but again, don't expect the highest quality and mouth watering fare...it just does what it says on the tin! Only downside was the teeny rooms but again, as long as you don't need to spend much time in them, they're perfect for sleeping and showering! Great wifi too...
