This is our fourth visit in three years to this hotel villa complex, non golfers. The service and quality continue to improve each time we arrive . 3 bed villa for a 2x2 family both kids under 3.5 years. More than enough space, well equipped for basic self catering so it helps to bring a few of your own basics if you can, reasonably good furnishings. Very quiet setting, not for those who want night life within walking distance. Discreet staff with rapid attention to any problems that might arise, as example our microwave stopped working and was replaced with a new one in approx 20 minutes. Full laundry and garage in the villas.
Beautiful landscaping to the entire site making it almost invisible in the forest areas.

The local village St Andre des Eaux is 3 mins away in the car or about a 20 minute walk on cycle paths in the countryside. 2 Weekday and Sunday morning market with fruit, veg, fish ,butcher, mini market, 2 bakeries and rotisserie all excellent, most are closed on monday mornings.

Its a 10 minute drive into La Baule town for the full seaside resort experience if you want it and it can be extreemly busy, excellent selection of restaurants and shops. Several large supermarkets nearby.

Plenty of tourist attractions within 15 miles, the Le Croisic Aquarium is worth a visit.

Will certainly be back.

the hotel is only 15 minutes away from La Baule, it's located in front of the golf. I had a nice and large room. The great thing about the hotel is that there's a fridge, a dishwasher and plates in case you want to eat in your room. That was very convenient. Their breakfast was good: viennoiseries, cereals... but the choice was not so big. If the weather is good, it is possible to take your breakfast beside the pool. The hotel is very quiet, if you're looking for a place to stay that is close to the golf, to La Baule and quiet, it is the right place!

Please beware of this hotel as we just stayed two nights in two twin rooms and it became apparent after the first night that all of four of us were not being bitten by mosquitoes at night but by bed bugs! Something you expect in a youth hostel not a four star hotel. The trip was booked through Golfbreaks in the UK and we will obviuously be advising them of this problem.

on arrival after having travelled the whole day, we tried (at about 17h30) to order some food from the 24 hr room service'" and were informed that due to the soccer starting at 18h00 we would only be helped after 19h30..
To play golf (if you do not have a car) one has to take a walk of about 2 kms to get from the hotel to the golf pro shop.
When we ordered some white wine in the bar we were told that there was only chardonnay, no other choice.(were we really in France?)
staff appeared friendly but consistently gave wrong directions.
room was nice, however no aircon.
our breakfast in the room ordered for between 07h30 and 08h00 arrived at 07h00..
we had booked for 3 nights. our door cards were programmed for one night only.
In summary: the golf was nice, but the hotel not really. we will not return. we get better service in South Africa, where we live.
