I don't like the extremely touristy hustle and bustle of Kos Town. Especially after spending 2 weeks on small, quiet islands. But if you're island hopping in the Dodecanese you just may have spend a night there. Kos Aktis is a good place to keep away from it all. It's in walking distance from the harbour, has a spectacular view from every room and you can have a drink or something to eat at the waterfront H2O bar downstairs. The food is mediocre but the view wonderful and staff very friendly. Breakfast is good. In the morning it's great to watch the sunrise and ferry's coming and going from your balcony. Our room was very nice and clean. But if you don't like airconditioning and want to sleep with the balcony doors open, bring earplugs. The bar downstairs isn't very loud but somehow (because of the way the balcony's are built?) the sound gets amplified so that even the sea sounds very loud.

Me and my husband went to Kos for a night from Bodrum. The Aktis Art was a great stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good also.

Location: the hotel is located in Kos city within walking distance from main attractions/nightlife. It is a modern building next to the sea and from each room there's a spectacular sea view.

The Best beaches are not on this side of the island so I recommend to rent a car.

The hotel is in a strategic position: the front side of the bulding is in front of the sea while the rear side is on the main road of Kos. Unluckily there's no private parking so you have to find a parking on the main street.

Rooms: one side of the (standard) room is made of glass so there's a spectacular view and it really seems to be on a boat in the middle of the sea both when inside the room and when sitting in the private balcony. Standard rooms are not big but are well finished with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Slippers and bathrobe are provided. Toothbrush is not provided.

Breakfast: the breakfast is very good (not excellent): there's a good selection of both salty and sweety food. Also local people have breakfast in this hotel both for quality of the food and for the spectacular position.

Dinner: We hadn 't dinner there but Greek people go in this restaurant to celebrate special occasion so I imagine the food is really good.

Staff: collaborative and kind.

I recommend this hotel to business travellers while choosing this hotel for vacation should be considered depending on own priorities: the structure/service is fantastic but it is not at a walking distance to best beaches & there's no private parking.

I stayed here for a week- fantastic bedrooms with a lovely bathroom! Fresh towels, dressing gown and Staff friendly and helpful.
Location was great- right on the beach and you ca hear the waves all night. Sun rise is amazing and great views of Turkey from your room. Only a stroll away from town with lots of great places to eat. Kos harbour is where you can get the boats to Turkey and other Greek Islands.
