We travelled to Kos with friends and chose these apartments because they were a reasonable price.
We loved these apartments, they were spotlessly clean, towels were changed every couple of days along with the beds. There was a small kitchen area with a fridge, kettle and small 2 ring portable hob. A toaster would have been more useful than the hob and you will need to take a tea towel and dishcloth. What would have helped in the rooms was some hooks to hang things on. As the rooms were small there was limited wardrobe space which was ok, but a few hooks on the walls/backs of doors to hang towels, bags, clothes etc would have helped. The rooms were very quiet and dark when the curtains were pulled so it was good for sleeping. If you go in high season you will need to pay for air con, but it was not too expensive.
The only other problem with our room was the shower. The shower hook had been placed too high on the wall and the shower head would not reach! We had to use it as a handshower, but our friends shower was fine.
We were in the newer block whilst our friends were in the older block, but both were fine. George, elena and their sons were lovely, along with all the staff.
The pool area was nice and you could always get a sunbed what ever time of the day that you went to the pool. The main gripe about the pool area was that the sunbeds had no pads on them and were very uncomfortable. We bought lilos to put on them. Also there was a lack of umberellas and the ones that were there were a raffia type that had gaps in so the sun still came through. There was always a nice breeze around the pool area which was good.
It was a 20 minute walk down to the main town, but we enjoyed the walk as there was plenty to look at on the way. We walked down and back every night so didnt need a taxi.
All in all a good place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. I cant believe anyone who said the rooms were dirty.
