“Apollon Hotel KosTown Kos Greece”

Apollon's like a good 3 stars hotel, not 4. Sometime you wait to sit down during breakfast or dinner time and often you have only pork or only fish dishes and there's always the same plumcake! Every morning there's a competition to reserve a sunbed with your towel – 180 rooms and about 50 sunbeds, more or less. Every room have air-conditioning but some night there has been a power-cut and so … !!! In my room there was a wall cupboard … two pieces of wood ( room num. 431). The swimming pool is beatuful but dirty and every morning a man, avoiding someone's eyes, spout something – I don't know what.

Stayed at the Apollon last week it was brilliant! Great value all inclusive holiday. The food was really good, being a veggie sometimes a problem but there was a huge choice of salads and veg.
The pool & gardens are beautiful as is the Hotel main areas (free wi fi) the rooms are clean and comfortable, quite basic but I wasn't moving in :) Never went to the beach so can't comment. Kos town is 10 minutes away by bus from outside the hotel (€1.20) Would go again next year.

“Nice gardens, good food”

We stayed at the Apollon for one week in August 2011. The hotel is really nice, although it is a bit far from the city centre. The wind on the beach nearby is not so strong as on the Southern beaches, so swimming is quite pleasant. The rooms and the food at the hotel are good. Everybody tried to be very nice and helpful. The pool is clean, but you need to "reserve" the place in the morning. The only annoying thing is that there is no wireless at the hotel (which is really strange and dissappointing, since most of the cafes in town have free wi-fi). Nice stay, but I would not be back as I think wireless is not a luxury, but a need today.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the garden are spaceous and very quiet (in comparison to the ones around th...

“IT was an excellent hotel for the price. I'll be back!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

I stayed in this hotel in june 2009. I must complement the friendliness of the staff and great variety of good food. When I got the room I laid on the bed and it felt a bit to hard for me and I mentioned that at the reception. They changed the bed in 10 minutes. I was really suprised how kind they were. The room was well cleaned daily and the pool was really nice too. I must emphasize the price which was really really good/cheap for the 4 star hotel in Kos. I would enjoy coming back again in that hotel. I had a great time.

“Great Place Great people”

Just back from a weeks All Inclusive, had a great stay at the Apollon, room was spotless and cleaned every day. Also supplied with clean towels every day. On arrival at 11.30pm the receptionist checked us in within minutes and then got us a chicken salad to eat from the restaurant. In general all the staff were superb, Sylvia on the bar during the day seemed grumpy but was the total opposite, but sometimes cleaning the bar came before serving the people! Food wasn't the best I must say, was very repetetive, but to be fair there was always plenty to eat and was topped up regularly. Would recommend a visit to Tigaki beach which was only approx 8km away. Hired a scooter from the place next door to the hotel for the day which cost only 13 euros. Would recommend to anyone for a holiday. 2 mins walk towards town there's a great bar called Flinstones, great value for money there, 2 euros for large beer and 3 for cocktails, then a little further down on opposte side of Flintstones you'll find a fantastic English Bar called Delons its a must, very quiet but great hosts, Fantastic English breakfast and has all the football on (if wanted) best bar we found in the week and there's plenty of them, All in All its a great place to be,
