I found this on TripAdvisor and was not in the least bit disappointed..from the minute we arrived, we were made to feel most welcome. our rooms were lovely and clean and very homely. The hotel has everything you can imagine from a restaurant to small bar, spa and all spa related facilities downstairs in the basement. You are 6 mins walk from the centre of Sallanches.

I would add that I mistakenly booked this thinking it was in Megeve as it did say that so if you want Megeve, this is 25 mins DOWN the mountain and a 40 euro taxi ride up each way. However Sallanches is a great base for the mountains and i wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. We didnt try the food so cant comment there.

Travelling with our 2 kids for a couple of days skiing , we had a nice clean room with balcony, good sleeping-quality beds, for a very reasonable price if you also take into account the prefect 1st. class breakfast next morning. One can allways find cheaper places, but this was real value-for-money one. A friendly staff, the boss, a nice chap -being simultaneously a Fysiotyherapist- can be of help whenever an after-ski pain occurs ...... which happened to one of us.
Enough parking space around the Hotel and an easy acces to the bigger or smaller ski stations like Cordon, Combloux, St Gervais and of course the more chique ones like Chamonix and Megève. If you don't want to take your car up to these ski places, there are (free) shuttle busses for you and your ski equipment.
We warmly recommend Les Pres du Rosay in Sallanches. Have fun & lots of snow + sunshine.
