I can not say enough positive things about Glebe House and Laura, the beautiful hostess. Upon arriving, we were given tea or coffee and some chocolates. Since we arrived late, Laura not only gave us the names of a few places to eat in town, but also called ahead to make sure they were still serving food and had a place for us. One of her suggestions, the Brandywell, turns out to be just right for us, and dinner there is lovely.
Our rooms are downstairs, just outside a stone nave-type of thing, and are beautiful. My parents' room is decorated in rich mustards and golds, with a gorgeous vanity and armoire. My room is very pretty, and the beds are comfy. The bathrooms are well-equipped, with lots of fluffy towels and individual soap and shampoos.
Breakfast is grand, just as you expect in an Irish B and B, and is served up right on time. We have had a spare on the car and mention having to go and change it that day, and Laura graciuosly offered to take the flat into town and get it fixed, as she feels they would be less likely to take advantage of a local. We are grateful to check that chore of the list and get to our sight-seeing for the day, though she is actually back with the tire as we are leaving.
Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. I doubt I would go back to Ireland without staying here at least a couple of nights. I hear the fishing in the area is amazing, though we didn't try it while we were there.
