Heevan is a beautifully situated property on the banks of the river Lidder and has a decent garden where you can sip a cup of hot coffee while watching the serene river flow past
Rooms are large but...Last upkeep must have been years ago..Looking at the militancy problem one can understand why the owner did not feel like investing money in maintainence but the carpets stink and the mattresses are bare.The rooms are dark and dingy
The lobby area is good and well lit .Restaurant isn't Bad either but breakfast is very mundane..they don't serve fresh fruits in Breakfast inspite of Kashmir being the fruit bowl of the country
All in all , ok hotel but great location
Room Tip: Look at the rooms on the top to get better views and better mattresses
