At higher side of pahalgam this property situated where the road ends. We were 3 couples booked in three rooms. The staff members were very polite and they have done every things to made us comfortable. Lobby and Dining Hall were very warm with their giant size heaters. The rooms were comfortable enough with two room heaters and one electric blanket. Though the hotel was only 10% occupied ( out of 80 rooms only 8 were booked ) but they didnot hesitate to turn on the heaters and generators. The food was excellent in test except the butter was 8 months and bread was 6 days old. But anyway it was a superb stay.

Located about 1 km little away from the town centre, the location is away from the crowds but not too far, if you wish to walk down and savour local cuisine and some shopping. This was a visit with family so we had booked 2 rooms for the 2 of us. At check in, they asked us if we would take a single large suite. The suite was absolutely gorgeous, on 2-levels, with floor to ceiling windows. The heating was good. The suite contained only one large double bed but the hotel staff made 2 extra beds on the floor which was quite adequate.

The restaurant was nice and offers mostly buffet meals. Food was good but not outstanding. We found lot of good roadside eating on the main street of Pahalgam. The hotel staff were extremely energetic and friendly, and offered plenty of suggestions on what to do in and around Pahalgam.

After enjoying the best part of our stay in Gulmarg at Heevan Retreat.the next location we were heading towards was pahalgam nearly 135 kilometers away frm Gulmarg.It took us three & a half hours to reach pahalgam A beautiful place.The hotel we checked in at pahalgam belonged to the same group we stayed early in Gulmarg named HOTEL SENATOR PINE N PEAK and we expected the same service their also. this Hotel is good for relaxation & rejuvenate their couple room is lovely . we both had a wonderful time there also. what we liked about the hotel is the location dear oh dear it is situated on small plateau over looking a big stream wat the locals call it lidder river.the gushing sound of the river comes through the windows of the hotel. One feels like nature is singing for u this experience cannot be shared by words until experienced with presence. My advice to all tourists who r willing to visit
pahalgam stay only in HOTEL SENATOR PIN N PEAK. (THANKS)

Everything about the Senator Pine n Peak is superb! But the hospitality extended to us made our stay even more special and memorable! The hotel staff members made us feel welcome and at home. They took time to get to know us and went out of their way to meet our needs. As noted in other reviews the room was spacious, with amazing views and the hot water available 24 hour's in the bathrooms which i think is very much needed in harsh winters.
Our room had a spectacular, unobstructed view of the snow covered mountain peaks! One morning we enjoyed the golden glow of the sun’s reflection on the mountain.
We had lunch and dinner at their restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Special thanks to Mr.Tafazul who takes a good care of the guests and makes them feel special and manages every thing professionally. We will come again and will recommend your Hotel to others.

The hotel is located in the woods above the famous river Lidder and is a very tranquil escape from the busy town. However, it is an easy 20 minute walk to shopping and dining via the amazing parks and by the river side.

If you plan to visit Pahalgam, this is the best place to stay!
