“Inviting, friendly, and fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 May 2012

My husband and I stayed over Easter weekend, since he had a break from his 6 month training program for work. We were the first guests of Chris and Sheila's B&B season, and the first to stay over Easter weekend. We had the entire B&B to ourselves, also, which made for a wonderfully serene time. Our stay was simply fantastic. We enjoyed the stunning Okanagan Lake view, and the hot tub, and the large soaker jetted tub in the "Oasis Room".
We enjoyed their friendliness, conversation, and warm hospitality. It was lovely to observe how the whole family was involved and passionate about making our stay enjoyable. Sheila and son, Mason, even made a little Easter basket of goodies which was waiting outside out door on Easter Sunday.
We really enjoyed the common area outside our room, which had the coffee bar and the warm baked goods in the morning before breakfast, microwave, fridge, and also the computer designated for guest use.
We also appreciated that they provided robes and sandals to go to and from the hot tub.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would gladly go for another get-away!

“Second time around and just as good as first time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 May 2012

My wife and I needed a quick get away for a couple of days, and the first spot that came to mind was the Oasis B & B in Peachland. It was the end of April and hence it was not a busy time; we actually had the place to ourselves. What a treat.
Again, I cannot emphasize enough the great hospitality being offered us for the two days we were there. They do deserve the designation they received for being one of the best B & B's in the world. We stayed in the Oasis room again, a large room with a jacuzzi tub in the corner, great views out of the window to a beautiful spot to sit outside in the morning with our first cup of coffee, overlooking Okanagan Lake. Wow.
Every comment made on Tripadvisor by the various guests can be taken as gospel.

“A little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 May 2012

Made a last minute booking for the Oasis B&B and I must say it was handled very efficiently. Magic position with outstanding views of the lake. Room was great for our family of 3, very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Sheila and Chris were great hosts and served us a great breakfast. Very handy location to all the sights the area has to offer. Look forward to visiting again sometime as one of the best B&B's we have stayed in

“Beautiful B&B in Peachland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

My husband and I love B&B's and, when traveling, stay in them as often as possible/practical.
The Okanagan Oasis is one of the best. It is on a hill overlooking the lake and what a teriffic view!
There are only 3 rooms which front a large patio, deck, pool and hot tub, in a lovely terraced garden setting-regularly consumed by the local deer! We also saw a young black bear up on the hill.
On the inside, the rooms back onto a small kitchen with a microwave, coffee machine, fridge etc and a computer area. Off that is a sitting room with couches, TV and DVD player, DVD's and books.
The rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds, attractive bathrooms, a TV and a CD player with sample CD's.
In the mornings at about 7.30, Chris leaves each room a small basket with baked goods in
the kitchen along with fresh coffee. At 9, a 2 course breakfast is served upstairs.
Chris and Sheila are perfect hosts as is their son Mason! As with all good B&B's, they are always ready to offer dining suggestions, wineries to visit and other helpful local information.
Peachland is a very pretty and small town located right on the lake. There is a new walking path along the lake shore, several good restaurants and a terrific coffee shop mixed in with houses, B&B's and small shops. It is a perfect place to use as a base whilst visiting the rest of the southern Okanagan which is all within approx 50 km.
We will definitely visit again!
