I stayed at the Pesqueria del tambre for three nights in September. The hotel was perfect and the location was unique. Set high up in the hills the drive to and from the hotel was a bit hair raising but you pass through some lovely villages which add to the experience of staying in a rural location. There are river walks that you can do from the hotel and a lovely pool area so you don't actually need to go anywhere if you are staying for a night or two. However the location is perfect for exploring Gallicia as everywhere is accessible in day trips. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and can arrange various outdoor activities with local companies. We did the rafting trip which was great! The rooms in the hotel are in separate buildings to the main reception building which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms , the common areas and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful and very relaxing. One word of warning - the restaurant was closed Sunday night and all day Monday as it was the low season & it is quite a long drive to Noia to the nearest restaurant. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
