I was a guest in this hotel; the arrangements and payment being made by the organisation that invited me. This hotel is a casino hotel, and accommodates the 24 hour Pharaoh's Casino. However, the casino was superbly isolated from the living accommodation, and was no nuisance during the night.
However, this same isolation required us to make changes from one elevator system to another to go from, say, my room to the breakfast at Varanda. Varanda is a multi cuisine restaurant for the rest of the day. For breakfast, it had an abundant board serving both western and Chinese dishes. Not as lavish as some great American breakfasts, but much more than many European Hotels.
The room was great, large enough, precisely air-conditioned, and sparkling clean.
The bath was huge, with a separate bath-tub and shower stall - nice because I hate standing in a tub and trying to keep the water from splashing outside.
Excellent service for an unusual request - I needed an extra hole punched in my belt! This was done very profassionally with a clean punched hole, and so quickly returned that I was surprised.
I had the pleasure of lunching or dining in several of the restaurants, and they were all very fine.
A bus is available at very short intervals to take one to the ferry terminals free of cost.
