Its a very nice hotel or at least was. I have stayed there twice now and both times found it pleasant but its in desperate need for a make over. Some of the carpet smells musty and wet. The Hotel is out of the way but there is a regular shuttle bus which makes up for this. The concierge staff are fantastic and almost add an extra star to my review. Overall its a nice hotel, good for the price but even a small renovation would go a long way here.

The Westin is our favourite hotel in Macau, we always stay here whenever we take a short weekend trip from HK. It's away from all the casino madness and is serviced by some of the best staff we've seen in any hotel. If you're looking to come to Macau to gamble, this may be a tad out of the way for you, although a taxi ride take 5 mins max to the Venetian.
The setting is excellent, as it is a ocean-facing facility. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are reasonably priced and offer good variety. The staff is always friendly and ready to help with a smile. If you're in Macau with family, or just like personal service, this is the hotel for you!

This is a great hotels if you want to escape from messy city life. Amazing location,great food and friendly staff. The hotel is only 10 mins drive from Venetian shopping area and 20 mins from city business hub. We stayed at the property during last Christmas and new year and would definitely like to come back.
THE breeze of the sea and the location little away from the bright casino...are worth staying..ideal for couples and family...if u love nature...the morning sun and the shore will fill you with a light heart and energy....

If you're in Macau to gamble, then you might not want to be out here. Possibly the most remote of the hotel available in tiny Macau, the Westin resort is on Coloane island. If you golf, you're probably going to want to be here, if you're looking to see what's left of the old Portuguese colony, you're about as far away from that as you can possibly get in Macau. BUT, the hotel is distinguished by the fact that it does NOT have a casino and to me, that was one of its saving graces. Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel is a tad old but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless.
