“Hotel Sintra Macau... I just LOVE staying there!”
My college bestfriend and I went to Macau from 13-15 January 2012. I've been browsing Agoda's website and stumbled upon this hotel. Based on the reviews, I took the reviewers words for it and booked 3 days stay at Hotel Sintra.
I booked their deluxe room. Well, Hotel Sintra didn't fail us! Considering the room's rate, you get value for your money. It is located strategically at Macau's busy commercial center. It is near the St. Paul's Ruins and other tourist spots in Macau. The ruins is just about 15 minutes away and you could reach there by walking. The Grand Lisboa is very near, about a 5-minute walk.
Check in was fast. Hotel Sintra's deluxe room is equipped with basic amenities. Hot and cold shower, toiletries, LCD tv, hairdryer, bathrobes, telephone, alarm clock, weigh scale, sofa and comfortable beds. Basically, it has all what one needs. I salute the management for maintaining the room spic and span. Everything is already there!
The deluxe room includes buffet breakfast. They have a variety of food choices. We definitely enjoyed dining there.
The staff are polite and knows what customer service is all about. They have a Filipino hotel manager who is very conversant in English & Cantonese. Since we were of the same nationality as with him, we were treated really nice. He will always check on things that we need, giving us pointers on how to go around the city and the most accessible points in going our itinerary. We find comfort in this hotel.
After checkout, we still left our luggages there so can still casino hop and watch the Dragon Show at the City of Dreams. It was raining that Sunday, yet, they took care of us and lent us their hotel umbrellas and guide us to where the shuttle of City of Dreams is.
Next time around, we will definitely be staying here again at Hotel Sintra!
