My family & I arrived at the hotel late at night. There was a friendly receptionist available to check us in. We went to our room tired, notice how spacious and clean it was kept. We recieved a room that overlooked Boqueron Beach! We loved waking up each morning and looking out to see the beautiful view. The mornings we went to the hotels resturant "La Cascada" means waterfall and there is one! We enjoyed a great breakfast that filled us up for the days adventures.
There are nice local shops that are open on the weekends, bars and resturants, bodagas to shop and eat, and Boqueron Beach right near the hotel.
We also went to Buye Beach, Combate Beach, Playa Sucia Beach (Cabo Rojo Lighthouse). All these beaches are different and beautiful in there own way! We never wanted to leave! For the first time, We took our 17m old baby boy to the Mayaguez Zoo to see the animals. He had a Blast!
There's also a visitor's guide set up in the main lobby. If we had questions on how to get somewhere or just needed more information. The receptionist at the hotel was always available to answer our questions and give us more information.
Our vacation unfortunately came to an end, I knew I would miss this beautiful sunny weather and go back home to cold snowy weather in NY. I will definently be returning to Puerto Rico and staying at Parador Boquemar, the whole staff was very friendly and willing to help my family and I at anytime.
