This is not a hotel , it's a short stay motel for the local drunks.
After I looked at the room with the towels with holes in them and beds that felt like they where plywood boards, I turned around and checked out. There are three irons for the entire motel. So if you plan to wear unwrinkled clothes you better bring your own, that includes the iron board. As for parking there is none available the locals use it because theres no one to tell them they cant. All in all it is an over rated dump ! I wonder who put their web sight together??

We have been to and stayed in Boqueron before and travelled around the island extensively. We live here in PR. My suggestion is that you pack your bedsheets/pillows and rent from one of the many apartment rentals in the area or find one fully equipped.

Boquemar---Clean, affordabe, great location---WHICH IS POINTLESS because it's not possible to use the hotel for the basic purposes---bathing and sleeping. It was absolutely awful. We checked in at 6pm and checked out at 1am the same night and drove back to our home in San Juan (2.5 hours away). Do not believe a word of the manager responses. WE experienced the same problems (SEE title) as other reviewers submitted over a year ago.

We could have tolerated the cold shower and the hard bed but essentially there is nothing but aluminum shutters between you and the people cruising by blasting their radios and gunning their engines as they drive past. Unbearable. Do not take an odd-numbered room as those are on the street side.

If you are handicapped beware as the grab bar next to the toilet sticks out over the left side of the toilet seat so you have to lean to the right and lean on the sink. We are able-bodied so it was inconvenient where it might be impossible for others.

Adding injury to inconvenience----my husband had an allergic reaction/food poisoning to the mixed seafood 'Mofongo Madness' he ate at Galloway's after we checked-in. Try balancing on the toilet (see above) when you have diarrhea! Madness indeed.

So far, the only good thing is that we were not charged----so far.

Parador Boquemar fit my needs. I was looking for an fairly inexpensive, "no frills" place to spend one night. The room was adequate, although the pillows were flat and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The staff was courteous. Parking was free. The location was great, as the hotel is on the main street in Boqueron. And, it was a short walk to the beach, nightlife, restaurants and souvenir shops.

The only good thing is that is located in "El Poblado" that is very cool to spend the night, and that is near the beaches of Cabo Rojo. But the room was terrible, there was no hot water, the A/C did not worked properly and the bed was super uncomfortable, to top of the line is that the pool is small and no Wi-Fi! . There are better places to stay in Cabo Rojo.
