We stayed 3 nights at the Parador Boqueron July 31-Aug 3.

The hotel was completely full, local tourism season. The entire little town of Boqueron was packed for the weekend. Lots of music, parties, etc.

The hotel was full of families, seemed great for children, etc.

The hotel is right on the main street for all the bars and restaurants, so it is really a rocking place outside well into the late hours. It makes it a little hard to sleep at first if you are note used to the energy of the island!! :-) We used the air conditioner unit in the room to drown out most of the noise.

The rooms were smaller than most are used to, a more European-style room.

The restaurant was incredible!! We ate there all nights because it was so good! Local Puerto Rican foods. Ummm !!

The staff was super! The real warmth of the local people we are used to experiencing on the island. A great atmosphere for the hotel! All so nice to us.

We will definitely return, but with the proper expectations... it is not a high-end comfort/luxury hotel!! :-)

It is in the Poblado which is a place that have many restaurants and a beach very close ( you just have to get out of the hotel and you will see) it has a pool and the restaurant is very nice even thou I like more the restaurants that where out of the hotel and were less expensive. But the hotel was a very nice one......

Went over to Boqueron for a quick one-night stay and found this nice hotel just a few minutes from the beach.

The staff was friendly and the price ($70 including taxes) was great. We had a 2-bed room (1 full bed, 1 twin), which was clean and included a fridge. It maybe needed a little paint but otherwise very nice.

The general areas of the hotel were nice. There is a medium swimming pool and a restaurant with a lounge. Restaurant prices are reasonable, and the food is very good. The staff was friendly and attentive.The Boqueron town is within walking distance as well as the beach.

Overall a very nice stay in the southwestern tip of Puerto Rico.

I'm puertorican, live in San Juan. Just retired. Love Boquerón beach and the simple atmosphere at the poblado (fishing village). Go there about three times a year. Parador Boquemar is one of the nearest hotels to the beach, we've been there three times and stayed in other hotels in the area also. While San Juan has high season prices in winter, at that time in Boquerón you can find low summer prices because puertoricans do not prefer going to the beach in winter (except during holidays). If you dont like noise go during the weekdays and not on holidays and ask for a not noisy area of the hotel. Rooms facing the town and pool are noisier in my opinion. The beds must have been updated because i found no problem, no plastic cover or anything. True, two towels, but if you ask you'd be given hand towels and rug towel. Most people understand a little English. The hotel has a website. Employees are helpful. No elevator, maybe you can ask somebody to bring your luggage up. The stairs are wide and easy. The hotel's restaurant has a decorative water cascade because puerto rico is very hot in summer. It's nice to have breakfast there. Dinner is ok. There are other eateries and hotels around. Hope the photos help you. It's a simple but nice hotel. This is not the place to talk about the poblado itself which could take a lot of upkeep. But the beach you'd like.
