Just come back from these appartments and they were great.

The appartments are very spacious and very clean, they could do with alittle decorating but nothing major (Can't be that bad we are going back in July!!) The pool area is quite small but you have the lovely beach one minute away, you could always get a sunbed around the pool at any time of the day so no early mornings to grab a sunbed!!

Justine on reception was very nice and knew loads about Ibiza.

Air conditioning is an extra charge and you will need it in July/August the cost is 25 Euros (I think this should be in with the holiday cost but hayho)

Noise was not an issue at these appartments as previously stated by some 'Charlies Bar' has fantastic acts and shows on for all the family and is good fun, the doors close at 11.50 at night and the building then becomes sound proof you can not hear any noise from inside but if you like to go to bed at 10pm then perhaps these are not the appartments for you.

All the rooms have a view to die for, each one has a sea view (I will add photo's later)

Sunrise at around 7pm and I think this is better than the sunset in San Antonio (And it's free!!)

EATING....... Mar Vent the restaurant attached to the Es Cane appartments does the most fantastic food ever and I think is reasonably priced, all the staff welcome you and will find you a table within minutes, if you are staying at the appartments Es Cane then you receive 10% discount off your food and drinks.

Brilliant holiday, would give these appartments/Mar Vent & Charlies Bar 100% thumbs up.

Wonderful views across the bay at Es Cana. I read previous reports about the Es Cane Apartments and the noise problems. We stayed in room 102 and yes there is noise coming from Charlies Bar downstairs, not great if you have young children. I would suggest that if you can beforehand to request that you are not given 101 or 102. Justine on reception is great and makes everything easy for you. Going back next year.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Es Cana Apartments. We original booked on the basis of the reviews having stayed elsewhere in the resort. We were a little concern at the comments on the noise from reviews this year, but we did not find this a problem. You have to consider that you are in the main area and above a very popular restaurant and club so if you sit on the balcony late at night it will be noisy. But come Midnight the doors are shut on Charlie’s and it becomes just ambient noise. However if you have an apartment with a back bedroom then the noise from the street cleaners, recycling lorries (they seem to come daily) and people going back to other hotels can disturb your sleep. Our 8 year old daughter however slept through it all!
The views are stunning from these apartments and you are literally on the beach. The beach can be packed at both ends near the hotels but walk to the middle (but beware it is very hot here as has no shade) and you’ll find plenty of space. Whilst we were there they had a problem on the beach with excess seaweed which looked unsightly and however much they tried to clear it, it returned the next day – apparently it happens if the sea is rough (and we had some windy days) – but that’s nature for you! Lots of good VFM fun water sports from the beach. Tip buy an umbrella for about €14 at the start of the holiday – you’ll more then get your moneys worth based on the €4 hire fee.

The pool – although a bit on the small side – was big enough to have fun in and there was always enough beds to go round – I found the atmosphere round the pool very friendly – lots of chat and paper swapping if you wanted to join in. Because the hotel is relatively small you get to know people better and it has a family run feel about it.
All the staff are very friendly (my daughter learnt some Spanish off the maid in their daily chats) and all go out of the way to help and make you feel welcome.
The Marvent restaurant below provides excellent VFM meals and drinks with very friendly and hard working staff who get to know the guest (by day two they knew our regular drinks order) they take time to make the children feel welcome. The menu is varied – mainly English but with specials each day. When we were there you got 10% discount if you stayed in the apartment – which was a good saving over 2 weeks. Typically our meals (2 adults 1 child with at least 4 rounds of drinks) was €30.
Charlie’s is a good family entertainment venue – although it looks adult orientated in is for families again they make the children very welcome. Away from the main area Popeye’s – although typically English, is good fun – especially the afternoon Foam Party. Further afield a bus ride to Sant Elliaua or ferry to Ibiza town are good days out from the resort. A walk to the next beach Cala Nova is a nice way to spend and afternoon – it has a lovely bar on the cliff to get a drink.
We loved Es Cana and these apartments and will return one day

We found these apartments of a good standard with all the facilities we needed although the pool is too small for the number of rooms and gets crowded quickly.
The resort was very busy and we thought the beach was dirty and overcrowded. The food in the resort was good on the whole and generally didn't have to wait too long to be served.
We don't think we'll go back as most of the time you couldn't get a place to sit on the beach.
