Basically you get what you pay for, Like the last reviewer we also stayed in an apartment but a week later from the 15th to the 20th, it was clean & had all the basics except a kettle & a bottle opener. The room faced the pool & we got the sun until the late evening as it was facing west. The room safe was only 2 Euros a day with a 15 Euros deposit.
At night time it was quiet & there was no exterior noise from the town outside. The interior walls are paper thin & you can hear the neighbours but i guess either the hotel wasn't that busy whilst we were there or as it's later in the season the crowd was possibly a little more discerning & respectful.
Theres no music or bar poolside so the place lacks any atmosphere but that was kinda nice as you could just relax rather than socialise (if you want to mingle playa den bossa is 5 mins & 10 euros in a cab).
We stayed for 5 nights & every morning (even though we went out til late the night before) we somehow managed to place the tag on the door for the cleaner & every day the room was cleaned (in a basic way) around 1pm, we received fresh towels & the beds were made which is all you really need & the room never got dirty as we didn't trash it, my only criticism is that you don't get a double bed, just 2 singles pushed together but we had already read this on a forum before we booked.
The place is perfectly placed for the Harbour & ferries (1 min walk) & the nightlife (3 min walk), the nearest beach is a 20min walk through the town to Figueretas & Playa den bossa is a further 20 mins from there so on 3 occasions got a cab to the beach & walked back.
All in all the place surprised us, we are both used to more expensive breaks & this was a cheapie for my birthday, but all in all a good basic place to lay your head after a heavy night out.
We'll deffo be back for the closing parties next year!
